Ich hab noch nie wirklich schlechte Erfahrungen mit denen gemacht, mache mir aber Sorgen wegen dem Akkuzustand und auch, falls was mit dem Telefon sein sollte, da ich oft gehört hab das der Kundenservice grottig ist.
Ich würds auch im Laden holen wenn alle Stricke reißen, Freitag gibt's ja noch den black friday, aber wie weit die Preise da noch fallen, keine Ahnung. Aktuell 777€ in der Black week.

Brain stem bleed
My stepdad had a stroke yesterday morning and has a bleed in his brain stem. He went into a coma. Thats basically all we know right now. I just got into town to see them and missed all the info from the doctor and don’t want to bug my mom. I just am curious what I should expect but it sounds like there’s a lot of uncertainty. Will he wake up? When could he wake up - days, weeks, months? Could he never wake up? If he wakes up it sounds like they won’t know the extend of paralysis/brain damage until he does but is it possible he might wake up and not have many issues? Or are there recovery stories? 62 year old male, they said the cause was high blood pressure. They said they won’t do another ct scan unless they see physical changes in him.

During my last job at a Silicon Valley unicorn, I was responsible for testing and was leading a small team of QA engineers.
We used Playwright, and I couldn’t understand why it was such a pain in the ass to create simple tests. Coming from an engineering background, I was used to working with (almost) non-flaky APIs, rather than constantly battling flakiness, outdated tests, and persistently red pipelines. Screenshot testing was a nightmare, especially for pages with dynamic content.
I decided there had to be a better way. Together with an old friend from university, we built inspecter.ai Over the past few months, we’ve worked hard, without weekends, and solved most of the problems I experienced. I’ve even started to enjoy creating tests because it’s now far less routine.
I would greatly appreciate your direct feedback to see if we should continue. As a QA, do you see value in this, or is it more of a “vitamin” than a “painkiller”? I will be reading all comments and answer your questions

I know the DPI gets saved and you don't need Synapse for that, and I know the RGB needs Synapse. But what about the stuff like Dynamic Sensivity or the lift off distance thingie (the thing that says 1mm, 2mm etc), do those get saved to the mouse?

How does the Dr figure dose for BASAL insulin? Sex? Nope! Height? Nope! WEIGHT!!!
I found this out when I switched from old type NPH insulin to Lantus. Unfortunately was not Dr that prescribed dose, but was nurse practioner. Took 2 days to realize something was wrong. Was waking up 60 to 80pts higher. So off to the LANTUS website I go. AHA, dose is set by WEIGHT!! Nurses dose was 20units, should have started at 32units, dang! How could nurse be that far off? Regardless, there were 2 formulas. 1 for those switching insulins and 1 for those who never used insulin. Being there was only 1 unit difference, I used, never on insulin. From there, adjusted my dose till I hit my morning wake-up target of 90 to 120. Every 2 or 3 days adjusted my dose by 1 unit till I had 3 days in a row in target range, finally ending up at 28units. Of course over the years, adjustments have been made. From work to retirement. From 15lbs loss of weight as well.
Of course insulin sensitivity and resistance play a role too. But on 1st day, these are unknown factors.

2024.11.26 13:40 Positive-Risk-0703 Is homeownership worth a 1 hour commute to work and a 1 hour commute home?
Wanted to get some opinions on if it’s normal to commute 2 hours total a day.
That is about 10 hours a week. City is Atlanta which is known for having bad traffic like most major cities.
I want a home and have started the process but think I will miss renting because my commute is 25 mins. Going from 25 mins to an hour seems like a big change but homes in my budget are out from the city.
My commute is also 39 miles one way which a day is 78 a miles day. Is that normal as well? This year I got used vehicle and don’t want to put tons of miles on it. Is 80 miles a day a lot?
Homeownership is something I want right now because of value that can grow. Also that the rates are fairly high and I wonder if rates are going to grow higher in the near future. Also I want homeownership because of my family that will grow in the future and good schools.
Which of these things should out weigh the other in my situation? Homeownership or renting convenience?
