2024.11.26 14:40 ThrowRA-F1998 Is the sleep cover supposed to stay closed when held upside down?
I just got my first e-reader. It's a "good as new" used Kobo Libra Colour I got off Amazon and bought the yellow sleep cover to go with it. I intended on carrying it with me in my purse, but the cover won't stay closed! It opens and starts dangling when I hold it upside down, so I'm pretty skeptical it's gonna keep my screen safe on the go. Is this a known issue? Should I try and send it back? The magnets on the front of the cover seem to work fine when sticking to the back. I was thinking of adding a strap around it but,,, you know

Is there any way that I can conclude where is the culprit? I don't get it, every track including master is deactivated, and the indicator in Bitwig is full all the time.

 | I am (20F), who caught feelings with a really cute guy (M20). I have had a crush on him since first year of college, and now we're both in second year. We recently got close, since we had mutual friends and were becoming close academically since we're both good at school and got good grades. It has been 3 months since we started messaging everyday, exchanging funny cat reels and memes and silly cute things. I liked him because he was cute, smart, and really attractive. He's just wonderful. This ray of sunshine, and he always makes me happy. He's a wonderful, wonderful friend. I confessed my feelings to him more than a month ago, when I sent him a poem about how I felt for him. He appreciated my poem and my feelings, and said that he thinks I am wonderful too, but it's just bad timing since we're both medical students and it's really hard. He friendzoned me. It's okay, but it did hurt me. He said he wanted to be friends still though, and that I wouldn't lose him. I tried moving on. But he still sends me funny cat reels everyday. He watched my favorite show, we even eatched the finale episode together virtually. What's worse is, we're classmates now. And more, we're groupmates in almost all the courses for the semester. He sits beside me during Embryology Class. I am so cooked. I tried telling him to stop messaging me and everything so that I can move on. And we did stop messaging for a while until I called a truce, because I wanted my friend back. I realized that I couldn't lose him as a friend. The worse thing is, I still have feelings for him. I feel like I am betraying myself. But who wouldn't like him? He's so nerdy and smart and beautiful and soft and wonderful. Literally my type, everything I could ever wish for. I' m attaching the poem I wrote him here. Guys, please help me. What do I do? I really wanna move on and just keep him as a friend, because that is so much better than losing him completely. I'm also just a normal girl, and people say that I am pretty. I just don't believe it, and I am really shy and not confident at all. I'm also really smart. Sometimes we would goof around and call each other 'academic rivals' and that we're gonna beat each other at school. How do I unlike him? I've previously used KnightCrawler, literally like a week ago, but I had some issues when my RD subscription had run out so I reinstalled a bunch of my addons. Now I'm unable to install KnightCrawler at all, Stremio just gives me an error that says "Response not recognized as an add-on or a collection" or "Failed to fetch". I figured it might have something to do with the ongoing issues with RD but I get the same error with AllDebrid and without a debrid provider. Just wondering if anyone's had the same issue (I tried searching but couldn't really find anything) and if there's a fix. Thank you :-)

I'm planning to repaint a fridge. Not a normal food fridge, but fridge for dead people, i think it's called catafalque. I need help with materials so i can do it properly. First I am planning to grind the surface, but my next steps are the question... Am i supposed to use a primer so the paint will last? If yes, which one? What paint am i supposed to use? Ofc something for metals, but what brand? If brand doesn't make a difference, am i supposed to mix the paint with something? If yes, what's the ratio?
I will do the job with brush and paint roller.
If it's relevant then i am from europe, so the brands can be different..
Last time when the job was done it was problematic. The paint was running down the surface because it was too watery, it wasn't a good look.. So i am hoping to fix it or do a better job.

Hey everyone,
I'm currently scanning a textbook that doesn’t have a digital version available, and I’d like to have it on my iPad for review during my free time. I’ve been using CamScanner on a free trial, but it expires in 2 days. I’m only about 200 pages into scanning, so there’s a good chance I won’t finish before the trial ends.
CamScanner is offering me a $29.99 deal for the premium version, but I’m unsure if it’s worth it. I haven’t used the free version yet, so I’m not familiar with the differences. Does anyone know what I’d lose by going back to the free version? Will it not let me scan large documents?
If you’ve used the premium version, would you recommend it for someone in my position? Or is there a better app/alternative for completing this kind of project that wouldn’t require paying $30?
Appreciate any advice from those with experience!

Hello everyone, I’m a high school senior and I hope to become a backend developer after college. I feel like I’m behind most people trying to do the same thing. I’ve seen people with all these complex projects that I wouldn’t even know how to start creating. I’ve taken Ap CSA and Ap CSP but that’s pretty much it. I know a decent bit of Java and I’ve created some projects like Hangman and a Store management simulator. I haven’t even started on any advance math like calculus.
At first I thought I was good. As long as continue making projects I’ll be ready for college, but now I don’t know anymore.
What should I be doing to catch up? I’ve heard people say get the basics of 2-4 languages. Should I try and learn another or just stick with Java.
