New cyclist/triathlete here coming from mainly a high performance field hockey background (10 years).
I’ve been looking into structuring my 70.3 training (Valencia in April) and wanted to know if incorporating zwift races is a good way to incorporate intense bike days? (Threshold-VO2 sessions) I enjoy these types of workouts already however have started loving zwift races, but due to both being quite taxing on the body and intense, not sure I would be able to do both.
Does anyone else use zwift races as fun way to train intensity?

The Lord compares Himself to a to a shepherd and people to sheep for whom He is willing to lay down His life. The Mosaic law clearly protected the owner of the animal given to the shepherd, and the shepherd himself, by laying down certain rules. If a man deliver unto his neighbor an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it: then shall an oath of the Lord be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbor's goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good. And if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof. If it be torn in pieces, then let him bring it for witness, and he shall not make good that which was torn (Ex. 22: 10-13). If the shepherd brought a part of the torn carcass, he was exempted by law from the responsibility for the animal. But more often than not, conscientious shepherds tried to wrestle the animal away from predators and save the flock entrusted to them. In Jewish culture the image of the shepherd was widely known, the prophets used it many times in their preaching, and in the text of the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament we find amazing examples of how future great prophets and kings found recognition in society, demonstrating their courage as shepherds. And David said to Saul, “Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: and I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear..." (1 Sam. 17: 34-36). Often there were tragedies when shepherds, defending their flock, were killed. And most often it happened not through the fault of wild animals, but through the fault of wild men - robbers, who sought to steal the sheep. The Savior does not merely compare Himself to a shepherd, but seeks to reveal His true ministry in the world. He is the One who lays down His life for the sheep (John 10:11). He has already been threatened with death, but He does not abandon the work that His heavenly Father has entrusted to Him. He gathers together not only the flock of Israel dispersed by careless shepherds, but also the sheep who are not of this fold (John 10, 16), in order to bring all those who respond to His call to the one Shepherd - the true God. St. John Chrysostom says: “Do not be confused by what He says: who are not of this court. court. This distinction is only in relation to the law ... and those must be brought to Me. By this he shows that those and others were scattered and mingled, and that those and others had no shepherds until the coming of the good shepherd. Then he predicts their future union, that they shall be one flock.” Unfortunately, for many centuries Jewish society has been ruled largely not by shepherds, but by mercenaries whose job was not to lead people to God, but to make a profit. So let's frame reality shall we:
The harsh reality is that fentanyl is in high demand and is very easy to smuggle in and most of the smugglers are US citizens or green card holders. Most of the raw materials are produced in China and distributed through various dark channels. A lot is smuggled in by couriers, aka drug mules in a wide variety of schemes.
The other harsh realities is that we have nearly 12 million undocumented people living in the usa and the vast majority are working jobs in some capacity.
