Hi,
I am currently a Sony A7iii user and thinking of upgrading my gear to medium format.
Given that the Black Friday sales are on in Australia, I am presented with two options and want to hear your opinions on which one i should buy.
Option 1: GFX 50s ii with 35-74mm lens totalling 6000AUD
Option 2: GFX 100 sii priced at $7220 + 2300AUD (but room for price negotiation)
Which one would you pick or recommend what you think would be better?
I like that the 50sii is much cheaper but not sure if the full frame 60MP camers like the a7rv is a cheaper subsitute that can hold its own grounds against the MF equivalent.
Note: I shoot landscapes.

 | following this video to protect my car against theft, I accidentally killed the 12v battery. I tried the fuse in the front, near your left knee if you are in USA. Routed the fuse through a Kill Switch. In the Off position, pressing the Start button seems to start car as normal but you cannot shift out of Park. https://preview.redd.it/qmklee3j293e1.png?width=1033&format=png&auto=webp&s=483f01ec03d2d010bedbc94914473feeb83b01db I monitored the 12v via the Home Assistant BL integration. Car died at 58% on Sat midnight. I did not get the alert (set at 65% threshold) because I was sleeping already. lol. Tried to use the car Sunday night and realized the car was dead. I went to check HA and verified when it was dead. Not a big deal since a 12v car battery jumper helped and now I'm back to 14.2v as before. Car works fine. In Position 2, fuse KS works too but with the same nasty effect, the 12v will NOT recharge. Again, do not leave KS off for 15+ hours. The car somehow checks all the circuits to verify everything is good to charge up the 12v.... I also installed a Relay KS in position 3. with KS on, car will not do anything when pressing the Start button. The whole car stays Off, it does not "boot up." This position 3 is really interesting! While driving and flipping the KS to the Off position, the whole car will instantly shut down with steering wheel locked up. I do not want to mess with this relay! I do not have any confidence in my EE degree to gamble with my life. It will not be pretty if my KS fails while car is in motion. (Noticed car still works fine with the Fuse KS methods mentioned earlier, so not a big deal if KS fails while car is in motion.) Finally, I put the Relay KS in position 4. It should work but for some reason, it does not. Without this E52 relay, car cannot shift out of Park. Putting the Relay KS in the On or Off makes no difference. So has anyone installed a KS successfully? If so, which fuse or relay did you pick? FYI, my KS is not a button or lever. It's a modified USB stick with certain pins shorted out. Once the stick is inserted in my modified USB port, the KS circuit is completed. This is much much better than trying to hide a KS button or whatever. I have some weird knee pain and was wondering if someone on this sub might have an idea what it could be/if a doctor’s visit is necessary.
I felt a pop in my knee yesterday when I was doing squats, in the middle of my working set, and at first I only had mild pain when bending my knee, especially if I put weight on it. However, I had no swelling and it seemed manageable.
However, this morning the pain was significantly worse, and I now have a sharp pain whenever I bend my knee. I can walk mostly fine without pain, as long as I don’t lock my leg or bend my knee, both of those hurt. However, still no swelling, or at least the swelling is so mild I can’t notice it yet.
The pain is on my left knee, and i usually feel it in the front left area. I can get it to ache a bit if I press on the left side of my knee.
Is this something to be concerned about? The lack of swelling has me hopeful, but the sharp pain has me concerned. I’d rather not wait a few days before deciding on going to the doctor, since I have to travel for thanksgiving, and want to go black friday shopping with my girlfriend, which would involve a lot of walking.

So many people experience motion sickness in VR or start out fine but encounter an extreme in-game scenario that finally shows them their limit. I've never experienced anything like that. What are some of the toughest VR games or sequences that truly test your limits?
One famous example are the Airboat sequences in HL2 VR, yet I felt totally fine. I play without any comfort options like vignetting or teleportation, I've done parkour, flown jets, climbed mountains yet nothing has ever put me off-balance except a few cases where a game glitched out. Just wondering am I in a minority or are most people totally fine in VR? I wonder what determines this tolerance.

I don't even know where to begin
it's been 11 days that I've been at home. My school is closed because of air pollution. We've been having online classes but I haven't attended any. What's the point if there won't be anything going into my head? Every time I try to sit down and study nothing goes into my head. I feel like I'm in lockdown again.
One day last week I didn't even step out of the house literally all day. I don't even remember if it was Monday or Tuesday. My sense of time is completely wrecked. My sleep schedule was completely wrecked, Until last night I forced myself to sleep on time and I feel somewhat better today. Add to all this the MISERABLE cold dusty New Delhi air that's making me cough day and night.
A lot has been happening in my life these last 2-3 months. I've been DYING to tell my diary everything that's happened , like I used to, but I can't, I just can't. All I've written about is a few days towards the start of September. It feels so indescribably awful to not just want, but LONG FOR something and then put it off whenever I can do it.
I'd been going to my school counsellor for support for a while. I'd come to trust her with things that I'd shared with no one else. but she hadn't been coming for a while. On 14th, 2 days before the school closed a senior told me (we weren't supposed to know this) that she'd quit. the next day, 15th, I asked another teacher about her not coming and she told me that she'd quit the job and that someone would replace her soon . In hindsight I can see that towards the last few days I'd seen her she was always busy with her work and hardly had any time to talk. She had some exams coming (I didn't know counsellors also have exams) and couldn't manage all these things at once. I spoke to the senior again and got to know She's got a really good job now, a government one at that.
I'm REALLY happy for her, But honestly I'm also a bit... shocked. It happened all of a sudden and now I feel like I'll have to start from scratch. And I don't know what the new counsellor will be like. And how long it'll take me to build that same trust. That's part of what makes it worse about not having written my diary, It's not just the catharsis of having written all that's happened recently and getting it all out of my head, one of the things that's happened in these last 2-3 months is also that I started getting professional help, and it's a major thing; I've been trying to look for it for a while. I wanted to write down everything that happened so I'd have it all in one place, coherent and clear. I AT LEAST want to be able to say thankyou and goodbye. All her things were still in the cabin the day before the school closed, so I hope she'll come again. A while before I started writing this I got a message on the class group saying the school will be opening tomorrow. I guess I'll get my my chance then, and also figure everything else out. There's basically no one I could talk to most of this time.
I guess I'm looking for some encouragement to keep trying to get help. I feel like I'll have to look outside of school, but I'll have to wait a bit to convince my parents because I was in the middle of exams, exams that got postponed because of this stupid air pollution thing. I'm REALLY nervous about tomorrow. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime I'll just take a break. I'm so tired.

Hello, just wondering if anyone has successfully run the title on the OLED Steam Deck?
Every time I attempt to start the first game it crashes just after exiting the title screen.
I’ve attempted to adjust my in game settings and move the game from the hard drive to an SD and back again. It still crashes. Just wondering if anyone has been having the same issue, how it’s been fixed and or whether or not it might be best to wait until it’s configured for the deck.
