Hi all. I recently have been a victim of sextortion. I had this person contact on telegram who was offering sexting and sex chats. After some chatting we agreed to do a videocall, I sent some money to a stripe account, and then asked to follow a page on instagram. What happened next is that this person took a screenshot of my followers and wrote to a couple of them (my profile was public, shame on me), and then blackmailed me asking for money to make it stop or it would have share the chat where we were basically deciding details of the video call. I panicked and paid it to remove the messages sent to this people, and it worked: the messages were gone. Right after that i was told to send other money and then block this person on telegram. Still in the wave of panicking I did so and haven’t heard from it since a few days. I am terrified that they might come back. I made my ig and facebook profiles private, removed the profile picture and the name. I changed my telegram username (profile photos and phone number were already visible only to “my contacts” and not to strangers). The first time I paid with stripe I did it with apple pay using my revolut card, and for the other payments I used revolut, but the transfer were made as a bank transfer. I thought about closing my revolut account, but I do not know if it will bring any benefits. What else can I do? I do not want to be haunted for life

After two IVF cycles and no blasts, my insurance is tapped out on the IVF front. All we have left is IUI. And they won't cover gonal-f/follistim, so all we've got is Clomid. I ask this with trepidation but...has anyone had luck with this protocol after failed IVF? I'm 37, high FSH, AMH .4, good responder to stims, no MFI. Any advice/experience with this? I'll take anything, good news or bad. Thanks all, this community is a savior to my sanity through all this.

You're working on a project at work and then ask a coworker a question that could very easily be a 'yes' or 'no' answer. Then, their response is calling you on Skype for 10 minutes to talk about it.

I work in public transportation and, to a lesser extent, housing. Looks like people of the "left" no longer mention the need for public housing. The conversation mostly now is the preservation of affordable housing, upzoning, density, historical preservation, vouchers, etc. In circles that discuss public housing in America, it usually is from the perspective that "oh we tried that and it was racist". I do think there is some validity to the view of public housing as the "projects", but could there ever be another rebirth of public housing that rids itself of these previous connotations?

2024.11.26 15:45 Lopsided_Chemistry89 The new Feats of Strength system will hit lane swaps so hard.
In case you don't know what this system is. It's the system that determines who gets the tier 3 upgrade for boots and who can't.
And in the preview of the items they set an example with Plated Steelcaps (tabis). The passive looks very strong and i assume the rest of the boots will have similar impact like these on the game.
So in case of lane swaps one team sends their ADC (i will refer to the bot laner as ADC to not confuse you) and support top while the top laner will go bot. They avoid certain matchups or set enemy top behind in the process.
But the downside to this is that the swapping top laner will get dove -under bot turret- pretty much every game, and also they will lose a big chunk of bot lane turret HP and maybe the whole turret (while top turret will lose 1 plate at best).
These 2 things are 2/3 conditions needed to win the event. And i think they really focused too much on nerfing lane swaps but didn't want to use such methods as nerfing shared EXP in top lane or making dives more difficult in bot lane.
