 | A while ago I made this post (https://www.reddit.com/AnimalShelterStories/s/Lx7owyKB3r) venting about a good dog in a bad situation and asked for help on how to cope with the weight of his future on my mind every day. I got some amazing advice and put it to work, making every day since then joyful, productive, and peaceful for us both. Today I got the news that a miracle of sorts has happened - his court case was thrown out and as the property of the shelter I work at, he is now going to be made adoptable through one of our special programs for dogs with difficult pasts who need particular care. My boss shared the news, and knowing how much he means to me, asked if I would give him his new name. To put it lightly, I’m overwhelmed. This post is to ultimately share good news that I never thought would come, and to see if you had name recommendations that aren’t pantheon related lol. Hi! I am going in for a consult soon at Mayo. I had already talked with my ENT and he said my tumor is past the stage of radiation more than likely. But mayo will determine. Both interventions terrify me for the sake of cognitive processing and computer work. I own a business and am a psychotherapist and do much of my work through my computer and use of my brain. Can anyone give insights into this? Your cognitive function post treatment, how long it took to come back weeks, months. How much it improved or changed over time etc? Were you able to manage complex problems if so how long did that take etc. Could you use a screen and how long etc.
