2024.11.26 17:40 Weird_Haunting Denied Extra Water?
Still so confused by the interaction I had on my flight with a Flight Attendant about 2 weeks ago.
We were flying with our two kids (3 YO and 6 month old). We obviously had to toss out any water before going through TSA and then went through what we filled up in the terminal while waiting in line to board (they had us line up but then kept saying we were going to board any minute for 30-40 minutes). Which was fine, just noting that there was a long wait where we didn't feel like we could pop out of line to refill our water bottle.
Also worth noting: I'm breastfeeding my 6 month old.
We finally board and get into the air and they start coming around with water. I asked our attendant if I could possibly have a few extra cups of water and she said one cup was "all she could do." Cool cool, totally understand if that's policy? So I tried to explain that I was breastfeeding my baby (sitting on my lap during this conversation) and that my concern about water was that I needed to stay hydrated in order to produce enough milk for her and keep her from getting dehydrated or hungry. (For those who don't know, you have to drink lots of fluids to keep your milk supply up).
Flight attendant got snarky at this point and snapped, "Well then it sounds like you should have brought water."
It was SO mean. Is there some kind of issue with giving passengers more water? I was really trying to be polite about it but I was honestly just worried about my baby on a 4+ hour flight.

I need a way to organize recipes on a system I "own". I'm sure we all know how much fun it is to scroll thorough 20 paragraphs about the smell of someone else's grandma's kitchen - again - just to find the suggested oven temp...
I'm aware of various sites that will strip all that advertising fluff and show just the recipe, but I also need my own copy so I can edit and include a note to make sure to accidentally double the nutmeg again because that turned out delicious.
So far, I've just done Google Keep, but now my recipes are in the hundreds and intermixed with other notes about turtle species and fixing the squeaky garage door. I'm leaning towards a bunch of Google Docs organized into Drive folders, but surely there's a better way?

I'm getting married soon. And I'm nervous about the awkward nature of standing in front of people like that. In particular I'm not sure where I'm supposed to look. Do I stare at the officiant the whole time, do I stare at the guests, do my partner and I just lock eyes for the whole ceremony? All of those options feel like they'd be awkward.

Currently I’m watching the revision session recordings on 2x (doing the questions before watching), doing the hw questions, doing 1 consol q, 1 income tax question, 1 audit risk and procedure, and 1 inflo question every day. The issue with this is that it’s taking a lot of time out of core revision on the weaker areas only leaving like 3-4 hours a day for me to work on those areas.
Question 1: I’m trying to optimise my revision strategy so my question is should I remove the tax and audit questions that I’m doing everyday so I can free up more time to study on all the different areas?
Question 2: what’s everyone else’s revision strategy? If you have any tips to improve mine then please do let me know

Went for a run in 40 F today with no wind with just the Auragrid on top. It was great, super soft and comfortable. Kept me warm and the grid let in just enough airflow to stop me from getting too warm. And when it got wet from my sweat I didn't even notice it. Very pleasantly surprised by it, I just kinda picked it at random from the new winter tops.
