I’ve been an online gambler for about 3 years now. On and off of chumba LuckyLand and the lot. Recently I hit a nice win for 1 grand and instantly started the cash out process. A few days went by and I got the urge to gamble again so I said screw it and canceled the redemption. Big mistake. I ended up losing the whole thousand and I’ve been a wreck over it. I know it’s not much money to some but for my little deposit that was a huge profit. It’s gotten me into hot water with my wife and I’m worried gambling is taking over my life. Any tips or advice for someone taking that first step into recovery would be much appreciated. Thank you

2024.11.26 17:24 willpadgett Hotkey ideas for this repetitive slip & crossfade action?
Is there a way for me to set up a hotkey for "split as edit point + add 2ms crossfade + slide crossfade 2ms left? Then, I could slip edit without having to manually create and drag over that fade every single time.
Also, "Auto-crossfade" doesn't work at this zoom level, since I'm at basically maximum zoom it defaults to no fade either way. Which is fine, I don't want a zoom-reliant crossfade duration.
I've never quite understood smart actions, like those you can assign to your mouse--but I think this might be one of those?

Guys please help! I am tired af of my bxtch room mate who is preparing for a professional exam. She returns from college around 11-12pm and I return at 2-3pm. This difference is because of various reasons like availability of faculty and time table. After returning from college, She then eats lunch and she maybe rests for sometime until I come back. The moment I have my lunch from the mess and return to my room, she starts studying. Like you can’t believe how tired I get after 6-7 hrs of college and I need at least 1-2 hrs of sleep in the afternoon to function well in the evening. She will obviously not switch off the lights because she is studying (idk if she does this deliberately to get on my nerves). Then I just keep rolling on my bed because I can’t sleep properly. Then at night when I wish to sleep by 12-12:30, she continues studying (plus texting her boyfriend simultaneously) till around 1-2am. The light remains switched on and I can’t sleep properly.
Here’s a twist: Since our end sem exams are approaching, I have a habit of studying late when I have tasks piled up like upcoming tests and assignments. From the past 1 week I had been studying even after she goes to sleep and so I keep the lights switched on. She has been annoyed as hell from me studying late because she can’t sleep with even a single flash of light. Yesterday she says, “ Please get a night lamp, its everyday now that you have been studying late” I laughed out loud how the sides of the story changed. And wait until I tell you what she said Today- “ I have a night lamp in my bed box, we can take it out when you’re free” Bro What the actual Fk??!! You mean you didn’t use that night lamp you were already having from past 8-9 months and ruined my sleep and you wish I should??? Are you for real??
Just guys help and tell me how to talk/handle these life taking and aaaaahhhhhh people who get on your nerves!!???

I'm trying to get the VRM app running on my watch, a Garmin Fenix 6. I have tried installing/syncing from the Connect app, and also through Garmin Express. The app installs fine, but throws the "IQ!" screen when I try to launch it. Has anyone had this happen and how'd you fix it? Thanks!

Hey all. Need some help with suggestions. My MacBook from 10+ years ago is on its last leg and I’m in need of a replacement. I really don’t use it that much except for occasional zoom/team meetings, note taking, online shopping and planning. I thought I might as well get an iPad if I’m not in serious need of a laptop. Does that make sense? Could be nice to use when traveling on the weekend etc. I have a work laptop that I use at work also.
That being said, any suggestions on an iPad to get? Doesn’t need to be anything fancy but at the same time willing to pay more if it means it’ll last longer! Also, I do think I would want to get a sturdy keyboard to go with it. Is the apple Magic Keyboard the way to go or does anyone else have a good suggestion?
Specific iPad + keyboard suggestions would be helpful! Thanks!
