I have a friend who lives around two hours away so we don't get to see each other in person very often, but we talk on the computer. Last night we were playing a game and I leaned back in my chair, which I guess to him sounded like me cracking open a can. He goes, "watcha drinkin?" I said, "nothing, why?" There's like a five second silence and he mutters, "oh man" in a disappointed type way. At this point I was irritated and said, "I'm confused. Why do you think I'm drinking something?" He goes, "well I very clearly heard you open something just a minute ago but it's alright, we don't have to get into it." I said, "you must have heard me leaning back in my chair or something." He just says "okay" with the same disappointed tone. At that point I just got fed up and said, "listen I've been working very hard and have been doing good, and being doubted is the last thing I need right now. I'm going to go lay down for a bit." He just says, "ok, let me know if you need to talk or anything."
I'm just so done, he was one of the people who pushed for me to get sober and this is what I get after putting in the work and successfully pushing through. Also on top of that I know he's going to tell my other friends that he thinks I'm drinking, and they'll just believe him as he doesn't lie about anything, but he just has this so wrong. I know I am first and foremost doing this for myself, but now all of my friends are going to think I've relapsed. Also this is straight up going to make people no trust me which is another terrible thought to have. This is not how this was supposed to go.

Female, 33, 130lbs, 5'2, never smoked, occasional drinker
I am going to try and keep this as quick as possible.... I had an MRA/MRI of my brain trying to diagnose the source of my pulsatile tinnitus. According to the radiologist, there were no signs of what is causing the PT, BUT they found "cystic/cavitary ecephalomalacia and gliosis involving the inferomedial left occipital lobe. It did say "there is no diffusion restriction to suggest acute ischemia or infarction." When I looked at the pictures, it did seem like a pretty decent sized area (though not huge).
The problem is - as far as I know, I have no symptoms from this and no idea what could have caused it. I do not expect my ENT will be able to give me advise on this when I meet with him to discuss the other results, and am now trying to figure out if I need to pursue seeing a neurologist. If I don't recall having any infection or trauma that could have caused it and the interpretation of the results is it wasn't from a stroke, what should I do?

I noticed recently that NFL replays stopped working on Mad Titan so I installed The Loop add-on and that didn't work either. They both fail in the same place of the user flow (right before the video is supposed to come up). Inspecting the Kodi log, I see that they are both throwing the same exception:

I have the red cardigan in a xl/2xl. It is pretty big on me and the sleeves are ridiculously long. I recently got the folklore cardigan (2024 version) in the holiday drop in a m/l I am a bit scared that it’ll be too small bc my usual size is a XL. Guys please help! I am tired af of my bxtch room mate who is preparing for a professional exam. She returns from college around 11-12pm and I return at 2-3pm. This difference is because of various reasons like availability of faculty and time table. After returning from college, She then eats lunch and she maybe rests for sometime until I come back. The moment I have my lunch from the mess and return to my room, she starts studying. Like you can’t believe how tired I get after 6-7 hrs of college and I need at least 1-2 hrs of sleep in the afternoon to function well in the evening. She will obviously not switch off the lights because she is studying (idk if she does this deliberately to get on my nerves). Then I just keep rolling on my bed because I can’t sleep properly. Then at night when I wish to sleep by 12-12:30, she continues studying (plus texting her boyfriend simultaneously) till around 1-2am. The light remains switched on and I can’t sleep properly.
Here’s a twist: Since our end sem exams are approaching, I have a habit of studying late when I have tasks piled up like upcoming tests and assignments. From the past 1 week I had been studying even after she goes to sleep and so I keep the lights switched on. She has been annoyed as hell from me studying late because she can’t sleep with even a single flash of light. Yesterday she says, “ Please get a night lamp, its everyday now that you have been studying late” I laughed out loud how the sides of the story changed. And wait until I tell you what she said Today- “ I have a night lamp in my bed box, we can take it out when you’re free” Bro What the actual Fk??!! You mean you didn’t use that night lamp you were already having from past 8-9 months and ruined my sleep and you wish I should??? Are you for real??
Just guys help and tell me how to talk/handle these life taking and aaaaahhhhhh people who get on your nerves!!???

Hello All!
Yesterday I went to my regular 6 month cleaning and was told some of my teeth have developed flat spots from grinding. My dentist strongly suggested having a night guard appliance made, which I am totally on board with, but I do have a few concerns.
I’d like to mention I have no intentions of trying a ‘boil and bite’ guard from the store. Although $650 is a bit of a gut punch for the one made by my dentist, I’m not willing to risk creating any more issues by trying to go a cheaper route. The appliance would be made in my dentists office, they’d take scans of my teeth to make sure it is an exact fit.
My concern is even though the appliance will be made to fit my teeth, is there still a risk of developing an open bite? Or it messing with the existing alignment of my teeth?
Second question: Would masseter Botox would help with my clenching? I notice I clench a lot during the day and I have a terrible habit of chewing the insides of my lips and cheeks.
If you made it this far, THANK YOU!! At the end of the day, I know these questions are better suited for my dentist and I do intend on asking them when I see them next, I’m just not sure how far out that is and I’d like to see what you all have to say about it.
