 | I took my SV08 apart a bit to replace the inductive probe with a BTT Eddy USB. In the process I lost track of how much of the toolhead wiring goes between the opening that goes to the electronics bay and the tie-down on the gantry. Basically I'm looking for the length of the wire that is circled in red. I want to make sure I have it correct before I tape everything back up. Does anybody have any good mechanic recommendations in North County that work on hybrids?
I may need to get a new hybrid battery for my Prius. From what I understand, the dealership usually wants you to replace the whole battery for $4k+ but you can also replace the individual battery cells for much cheaper with a mechanic that is willing to do it.
I recently moved to North County from central San Diego and it'd be nice to know some good mechanics up here anyways.
(and if anyone wants a tip on a great reliable mechanic down in central San Diego... Lutz Tire on ~28th and Market. I was going to him for over a decade)

2024.11.26 17:31 Da1sycha1n Broke my wrist on first snowboarding trip in Feb, how to overcome fear getting back on the board?
I did 4 days in Andorra this Feb after a few lessons on indoor slopes and I loved it!!! I went with my boyfriend and by the second day we were feeling really confident on the slopes and cruising down the mountain.
But on the last day, just after a really good run, I fell badly and broke my wrist. I think I fell bad BC my butt hurt from all the previous falls and I instinctively reached out to protect myself lol. It was pretty icy the first few days and tbh I was falling a lot. The break was fairly bad and I was in a cast for 8 weeks, which made my job (kindergarten teacher) SUPER hard. I also hate medical stuff and get really squeamish. It just really sucked having a broken wrist, it's still not back to 100%.
Now I'm seeing everyone's snowboarding vids and I KNOW I wanna try it again, I just need to build up my confidence. I'm thinking butt pads and wrist guards can help. But a bit of me is like, it's an 'extreme sport', breaks are likely, you could break a leg, ankle, get concussion... Ahhhhh. I know it's just anxiety and I don't want to let it stop me doing something I enjoy. Has anyone else been through this, how did you get yourself back on the board?

I'm writing a story about a character with T1D (15F) and her delinquent older brother (23M). I'm trying to write about common struggles of dealing with T1D and it also covers bullying and a little bit of angst. I need to know if it can have adverse immediate effects if someone just rips out an insulin pump- is that even realistic? Would it send her to the hospital or would she just need to go to the nurse to get a new one?? That might help me focus more on medical / emotional and mental health aspect of it and I wanted to be informed.

I am looking for advice on what parts to pick for my PC, I've purchased some of the parts already and from my research on them I am happy with them, below I will include a table and the bolded parts are the ones that I already have. I have included a price that I am planning to spend on the ones that I do not have yet and my picks so far those parts. I am mainly looking for good 1440p gaming performance.

There are definitely differences in build quality between the transmitters I'm looking at, but is there anything that I can make a drone do with the expensive radio that I can't do with a cheaper one? Is the range different between them, or is that more receiver dependent? I don't know what most of the features and specs mean in the listings aside from them both being 16 channels.
