My now ex-partner, M33, has been suffering from ADHD for a long time but we just discovered this last month, after 5 years of been with him. In the period of 5 years he’s always had sever mood swings, being happy for a week and been depressed the next week. Recently though things have gotten worse, although he doesn’t want to admit it. He’s been slacking a bit at work and he’s become quite dissatisfied with it, having low or no libido at all, and he’s been spending his weeks sleeping for hours after work. He’s generally very low mood for the past three months, although he’s been distracting himself by watching funny videos on YouTube all day. I know these are symptoms of ADHD but I feel like it’s gotten progressively worse and he can’t find any motivation at all.
Sadly, he doesn’t have any friends and he’s always by himself, alone. The location where he lives is also not quite helpful as he lives isolated in the countryside sharing with others who are never home. I will be moving to a different city next month and I’m the only one who haas tried to assist him with a lot of patience and difficulty. He doesn’t seem to want to seek therapy seriously or try to take effective medication for his ADHD as he believes that he’ll be able to help himself out of it, but he hasn’t been successful in the last years.
My worry is that he’s clearly slipping into a hole and I believe it’ll get worse when I leave and he’ll have no one to talk to or turn to. I did ask him if he was willing to move back to his parents for a short period, he’ll also be surrounded by his childhood friends and maybe with some family support he might get back on his feet but he seems to not want to do that. I was wondering if I would be an ***hole if I mentioned the situation to his parents and see if they can help him out?
I don’t think there’s another way out for him. It’s either this or he will be severely depressed in the next two months and potentially lose his job (the managers have been complaining about his performance).
But open to any advice !

im a really big fan of arcanes portrayal of women and men in the series, giving women more masculine representation and societal roles, as well as giving a lesbian relationship screentime, arcane gives representation to several important under represented roles/dynamics
one such issue is that male platonic relationships are not as emotionally strong as female relationships
men will often not open up in front of their friends and it lacks the emotional bond often carrying female relationships
i think arcane portrays jayce and viktor as a great representation of a strong platonic emotional bond between to close friends.
but whenever this is shown in media they are immediately fan shipped as 2 gay men
this is the core of the problem perfectly portrayed.
it is impossible to write men with healthy relationships like this without people assuming they are gay men or there is at least some homo erotic aura in the air.
i have seen an insane amount of posts and tiktoks dissecting every single encounter between jayce and viktor looking for eye movement or body language to indicate romantic affection, desperately trying to ship them together.
I understand head canon and wanting two characters to be in a relationship but it is such a devastating blow to the representation of a healthy male friendship when they are just written off by the fans as two gay men.
i understand the need for the representation of a male gay relationship in media and hope that the next arcane series portrays that, but i do not think its okay to force jayce and viktor.
please let me know what you guys think.

My child is 8 years old and he seems like a pretty good swimmer. He has good weekly instruction and participates in informal “meets” every so often that are run by his swim school. One thing I have noticed is that basically none of the kids in this age group are able to dive off the blocks very well. They usually look like belly flops from a distance but that may be an exaggeration. However, is there an age when kids generally start to master this component of swimming? What are some tips for teaching this skill to young kids?

As the title says, I’m replacing the factory head unit with a Pioneer touchscreen head unit. I haven’t added any speakers and have just connected color to color with the factory harness using a Mid City Engineering plug and play kit. I have power to my screen for 30 seconds then the screen turns black with “Amp Error”. I have read and watched videos explaining what could be the issue, does anyone have any suggestions for troubleshooting? I’m currently testing each speaker individually.

I've seen a lot of past Reddit threads on this that helped me make my decision, but I'd like more specific info on how to find night-owl-friendly accomodations and average prices. If I'm working opposite hours I doubt renting a room would be a good idea.
Also I'm 6'2 and 230lb. How do I make sure I have a foreigner sized bed? I don't care as much if everything else is small but a short bed can get annoying.
Would it be a better idea to find a 24h co-working space? I've never used one before. I'm still new to DN life. Net Cafes?

After recent patch experiencing hard crashes. Nothing helps, everything freezes and only thing i can do is hard shutdown/reset. Is there any way to fix? I remember it was issue during last days of beta, but didnt experienced that till today's patch. My laptop is above minimal specs and slightly above recommended, so it wont be the case. All other games works without problems. Anyone have same experience, hit was able to fix it?

I've been uncomfortable with people coming near my neck for a very long time, I just thought it was a weird quirk of mine but about a year ago I remember a incident with my dad. I remember him kissing my neck with his tongue and sucking on my earlobe even though I tried pushing him away and telling him to stop (he held onto me). I'm not sure if it happened multiple times since the memory is pretty vague but I think that's why I'm so uncomfortable about my neck and people touching me in general (especially him). I'm not even sure if it's SA but I've been feeling pretty disgusted and suicidal ever since. I just wanted to get it off my chest since there's no one I can tell in real life. I don't know how much longer I can live with this though. I feel guilty because I don't know if I'm just overreacting.
