2024.11.26 18:30 Putrid_Ease4664 Full thickness cartilage damage
Have been suffering with hip pain for a while, finally went for MRI scan a couple of weeks ago. Results small bulge in right femoral neck. Potentially a tear in labrum, but the bit that had me most concerned was that it says ‘there is a suggestion of full thickness cartilage loss in the acetabular cartilage. I’m a really keen runner and football player and this has scared the life out of me as I’m only 26 and not ready to give up all that just yet but obviously don’t want to make this worse. Doctors told me I’m not a candidate for surgery and to try physio which I was planning to do first anyway as have suspected this for a long time but haven’t been able to get a scan to confirm.

Hi community,
I've noticed that I can go by 4-5 months before I get gas. My commute allows me to use my R4P mostly as an EV. I'm curious if there are downsides of using it like this in terms of unbalanced wear and tear? Does the gas breakdown and deteriorate to a point where it can cause problems?
I wonder how long do you all go between getting gas?

I have a question regarding microtransactions within PoE2 (and PoE for that matter as well). Are the microtransactions just cosmetic, stash tabs, etc?
I have played PoE a long time ago and even got to the end game with my first character, but it was a busy time in my life and I wasn't able to continue playing soon after. I know that there is a cash shop, but I never really browsed it during my play time back then.
I am incredibly excited to jump in to Wraeclast again in PoE2, but I want to make sure that this game will not wall me with any microtransactions.
Another question in the same vein; is everything within the game farmable? Or is there certain things that are locked behind paywalls and/or sped up with microtransactions.
All the content I've seen has me unreasonably excited like so many others here. I'll be paying for early access too. I just want to understand the micro-transactions a little better.

Disclaimer: I know how incredibly suspicious this entire post seems - this is a purely hypothetical scenario that I'm only asking about because I want to know what will happen if I manage to do something stupid again.
Was talking with someone last night, and they said how they planned to dungeon cheat cuz it's fun until 30d (without wipe) since they don't have any 1st offense ban,
I don't cheat whatsoever, but this did make me realize something. I got banned for 30d a while back because I left an X-ray mod in my mods folder on accident (believe me or don't-doesn't matter).
If I was to get banned again, am I at risk for getting wiped? And if so-does that wipe risk ever go away?

Honestly, I feel like I overreacted. She has been trying to reconnect and work things out, so I am reconsidering my decision.
What is the so-called boundary, you might ask? It’s sharing our relationship problems with other people.
I understand that some people—if not most—would be fine with it, but personally, I am not.
There are several reasons for my feelings on this. One reason is that my partner doesn’t understand what “TMI” (too much information) means. For example, she once shared something very personal about me with others—something I’ve tried to forget and bury because she discovered it while going through years' worth of messages.
Additionally, I have never had good experiences with people sharing my problems with outsiders. This stems from my upbringing in an abusive household, where I was often publicly shamed for my mistakes. As a result, I have developed a strong dislike for others discussing my personal matters without my permission—not just shaming, but other negative experiences as well.
Lastly, I tried to be accommodating. I understand that sometimes relationships can become confusing, and it’s natural to seek someone else's opinion. After discussing it, we both agreed that a friend of mine would be a good choice for advice. He had previously helped us with similar problems (we argued a lot), and he never took sides, even though he had known me much longer. He was willing to stand up for her if I was in the wrong and encouraged me to apologize. So, he seemed like the best choice.
To address her TMI issue, I asked her to at least inform me about what she wanted to share, as I didn’t want anyone else knowing things I had never told anyone besides her. However, after all of that, she decided to share everything in a random Discord server she had joined for about a week. If you’ve ever used Discord, you can imagine how that went. Most of her “friends” immediately told her things like, “Leave him; you deserve so much better! Be with us!” That was just from hearing her side of the story.
This is another reason I thought my friend was a good choice—he always listens to both sides before coming to a conclusion. After she did that (this was now the fourth time she went behind my back), I felt really hurt yet again. Still, I decided to forgive her until she confronted me, saying, “I feel disrespected, so I am breaking up with you!” When I asked what I had done wrong, she surprisingly had nothing to say. I can only wonder who told her I was disrespecting her—couldn't have been those kids who started hitting on her right after the breakup (just a hint: it was them).
Now, after a month or so, she has come back apologizing, saying things like, “I was confused and didn't appreciate you enough,” etc. So now, I am very confused.
I forgot, but she has been texting me constantly this past month, begging to get back together from random platforms.

I really enjoyed studying abroad when I first arrived in Nottingham (England), because I was constantly going out of my comfort zone, experiencing new things and there was a lot of excitement from being in a new place and meeting new people. But after ~3 months I feel as if I've settled into a routine and everything just feels normal. I feel as if I experienced or learned more in the first month than in the subsequent months after. I'm still enjoying this experience but now it's moreso because i dont have to do real work and the university feels easy
