 | Hey everyone, Today while curling my eyelashes, about half of my eyelashes got ripped out by my eyelash curler. I’m completely devastated and feel horrible about myself. I’ve never had eyelash extensions, and quite honestly don’t even really have the extra money to get them right now, but my confidence is so low I might just to feel a little better. I’m still new in Silliman and since I’m from Luzon I needed to stay in a dorm. Wanted to ask if it is possible for you to really get kicked out of the dorm if you don’t follow their rules? I’m staying at a Silliman dorm right now and my dorm manager keeps asking for sponsorships (like actually cash) to fund our events like snacks and now that it’s almost christmas, also for decorations. I’m scared that if I don’t give money, I’ll get kicked out. I also heard a dormer tried to report it to the higher ups and they scolded the dorm manager so the dorm manager got angry at the dormer who is now not in the dorm anymore….. TT what do i do?

My dad attempted to renew my passport through passportseasy.com for me as a gift. Once he told me I was immediately suspicious. He already spent $234 for expedited service and went through the whole application process up to the point where they send the confirmation email with the necessary forms needed for a passport renewal. My instincts don’t feel great about the whole thing since it isn’t a .gov service, but while it may not be the best way to have renewed a passport, is the service still safe, or is it malicious/a scam?

2024.11.26 20:20 TrainAss In-place OS update and deployment of the primary domain controller? What could go wrong?
Get a teams message from the sys admin. He's rolling out an upgraded DC01. Now. Just after lunch. Asks us to let him know if we start seeing issues so he can "roll the upgrade back".
I ask him, just to check, that he spun up a whole new server and is doing a migration. Nope! In-place upgrade from 2012 R2 to 2022.
Last major upgrade he performed, during the business day, took down everyone's ability to do anything with MFA or authenticate with MS applications. No communications to anyone either!
I've done upgrades and migrations to DCs before, always spin up new machines, and migrate one after another. And always after-hours. On the weekend ideally to give you more time should something go sideways, never in the middle of the day.
I've got my popcorn ready for this inevitable shit-storm.
