2024.11.26 18:30 -0773H- What could happen if a character had darkness/shadow manipulation (Umbrakinesis)
I'm making a magical girl universe and one of the MC's is a villain who controls shadows/darkness. I think it's such a cool idea but Idk what physical effects it could have. Like shadows by nature can't be physical so what damage would it actually do.
I'm thinking of making it more psychological pain I've got a couple reasons for this. 1. The world is based of instruments and since he's gonna be a pianist it would be sick if the entire room goes dark and he just plays the most dramatic music whilst the heroes are powerless.
- The other group members are alot more violent their weapons are: A violin that turns into a longbow, and a guitar which he bonks people on the head with lol. This character however is the only one who's instrument isn't also a weapon so it would be a nice difference.

Just out of curiosity...of the people here that have experienced "Dying" during their trip, how many of you were afraid of death before you had your experience as well as the people that were NOT afraid of death before the trip?....Also, for those of you that experienced the feeling of dying, how traumatizing was it for you? and or how did you feel afterwards, and what did you learn? (I'm a little worried that if I experience this it will mess me up or something) I look forward to reading your comments!
PS: I also want to hear from people that didn't have the experience of dying as well!

My ancestor was born in Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany in 1896 according to draft cards, census, etc. I am unsure how to locate his hometown in the region (especially considering I do not speak any German).
