2024.11.26 18:13 joejackrabbit Mesh for Gig Speed???
So my neighborhood is finally supposed to get gig speed (2 different company are about to offer it, one has already laid the lines and said early 2025 it will be fully up and running after it got delayed from July of this year). My current ISP tops out at about 100Mbps max even when they promise 600Mbps.
I have a R7000 Router by Nighthawk right now.
I'm honestly not sure if I'd need to just buy a mesh setup or a better router too? I'm new to the whole "mesh" world. I have a few dead spots in the house where the wifi just doesn't reach.
Since it's Black Friday/Cyber Monday are there any that I should consider investing in?

3 months ago I applied for a Director position at a dream company, through an external recruiter who speed tracked me to interview with the president. The president showed up late (i later found out the internal recruiter had just started and missed the beat on scheduling me) and we had a very short conversation that was truly just fine. I got ghosted after with no feedback, I added the president on LinkedIn which they accepted.
Brings us to now, the director has been hired (someone I have a lot of connection with but don’t know personally) and the director has posted for a manager position reporting into them. I applied, interviewed with the director and got along amazingly. They’ve now put me through to interview with the president. How do I bring this up with the president given our last convo led to me not advancing? Should I see if they even recognize me? Should I bring it up first?

Consequently, there’s is no reason to believe either A or B. If we restrict our belief to those things we know are true, then we should accept the general theory of relativity, the Big Bang, and cosmic inflation, and the implication that the universe began to exist.
Counterargument C:
“Everything” is a social construct based on our perception. Essentially, the nature of the universe only exists because humanity exists to perceive it and give it a name.
Response to C. If the nature of reality/the universe is subjective, then no theory of communication could exist. Our ability to communicate effectively suggests that reality/the universe has some days objective nature outside of our own existence such that we have a common experience of reality that we can communicate to each other. If the universe were purely subjective to our perceptions, our subjective experience would be so uncommon that language would never have anything in common for language to exist.
