Holidays with the family are lame
If we do holidays with my husband’s family generally:
-his mother will spend the entire time complaining about us -if she has a friend over, she’ll try to get them to make fun of us and depending on the friend they’ll either say nothing or join in
-his father will pretend he actually gives a shit for twenty minutes before saying something belittling to my husband or make it clear he’s not actually part of the family just, as my husband puts it, “more like a weird uncle”
-his step mom will say “well at least you’re keeping yourself busy” or passive aggressively complain about how people don’t want to work despite knowing I’ve been trying and the severity of my mental health issues
-both will focus on his brother, his brother’s wife, how rich and successful they both are, as well as their new baby and by comparison my shriveled and barren womb and probably how it’s better that some people don’t have kids
We’re staying home and:
-my dad refuses to cook. He used to make three course meals, but then two of my mom’s friends moved away, their friend group sextet unraveled, and he’s like “what’s the point?” And it’s like… my mom, my sibling, myself and my husband are still here but apparently we’re not important enough for him to put in effort.
This brings up a lot of resentment for me because growing up he didn’t see the point in celebrating some holidays because HE wasn’t a kid anymore so why would he want to on our behalf, and holidays like Christmas he tried to sabotage because his Christmases as a kid were horrible so he didn’t want us to have good ones either. He was morose because he didn’t have friends, and family he liked lived far away and he hated his children openly and didn’t want to spend time with us because we were such a burden. My mom gets a lot of credit because she always tried real hard to make holidays special and would fight with him if he tried to interfere or spoil things.
I struggle with depression and paranoia. Sometimes he will say things under the guise of being helpful but it just leaves me feeling suicidal or affirmed in those things. He’s a big “I’m miserable so you should be miserable” person and it feels really unfair because when I was a kid he actively misled me or let people hurt me and I’m sure it stems from his own depression going back to “if I can’t have it why should you.” But it’s like, who could I have been if you didn’t intentionally hurt my emotional and social development? The times he wasn’t using me as a bargaining chip or extension of himself (and then disappointed in how poorly I performed) he was actively trying to break me. I don’t WANT to eat dinner with him on thanksgiving but like, I’m still mad about it. I wish we were going somewhere else or i actually had friends to visit with because it’s not just a holiday alone it’s sort of a monument to his shitty parenting and the fact I never escaped any of it.

I posted here a couple of days ago complaining about my terrible battery usage. I was getting around 10% usage for 45min SOT doing light browsing etc(weirdly the post was removed).
After trying the usual factory reset option to no avail I saw a comment on the official One Plus forum saying if you drain the battery completely flat then recharge it to 100% it'll solve the problem.
After giving it a go today I've had 5hrs SOT using Google maps all day with 4G active and I have only used 30% battery.
I would thoroughly recommend this method if you are having rapid battery drain issues

Like whenever my mother gets into one of her shouting moods calling me useless I remember that when I'm at school and I start focusing more like I've got something to prove. But the problem is my internal motivation doesn't match it at all. I remember getting an 80 on a physics assignment with a partner where I did all the work, then I raised a complaint to my teacher about how others blatantly cheated and got a higher grade.
He asked me what I'd do about it.
That fucking night I sat down for 2 hours straight and did it again from scratch to get a 96 later.
But later on I can't find that same motivation without someone to prove wrong
Anyone else relate? Tldr; Proving people wrong is what makes me lock in

The first photo is the original points displayed as single symbols. All I did was select feature layer > symbology > heat map and I got the third photo. I’m trying to display density as heat maps. It looks like what I need, except all the data has shifted down. I’ve tried with different data sets and same results. Any help is much appreciated 🙏

What that actual **** like tier 2 dungeon experience is so bad its not even funny. I've been trying for the hour and 30 minutes to do Carmine Rage Island. I join que; people leave quit que 200 times. After 30 minutes, when I think I finally get a group, I press accept. Someone canceled again! And then I'm stuck in que for another 15 minutes with the notification sound going on and off again and again and again. I finally get a party, and guess what happens? 1 person leaves, then 2 people leave, and then everyone leaves. WTF. I que again the same thing, people que dodging with that annoying sound going off over and over. And then I stop for 20 minutes because I can't take it anymore. I do, world boss, come back. Find a party in 3 minutes this time okay finally I can do the dungeon nope. Someone asks, Does everyone know mech? No one says anything, then they leave, then 1 person leaves, then the whole party leaves again. I just queried again. Same thing: 1 person leaves, and then the whole party leaves!! I"m SO ********** MAD right now. All this time wasted can't even get off the beach.
