 | Tried this with my fountain pens and found the half-pen module (section refill) fits nicely into a Pilot Metropolitan and a Jinhao 80. The fountain pen covers would no longer fit, though. okay before you click off you need to understand the situation. I had this crush on a girl for a while and recently they had this conversation that ended up with her saying that she finds me handsome, but she doesn't like me. I asked around since I'm pretty good friends with the other girls, and oh my god, their tastes in boys/men are so specific and like a 1 in a million person.
I'm still pretty young and have a long way until 18, so it's definitely true I won't be friends with her by then, but it kinda still makes me sad even though I always knew nothing would happen between the two of us.

Think about the Missouri-fication of the Midwest: Missouri was once a swing state and now it's solid GOP, same with Ohio. Florida and Iowa are definitely solid GOP. I don't see these states voting Democrat in at least 3-4 election cycles (so the likelihood of a Democrat winning these states is probably higher in 2036 or 2040).

Anyone that holds onto the belief that marriage is an essential part of a relationship are either highly conservstive in their views or are indoctrinated into such a belief from society and peers.
This is not to say that it is bad to get married. If that is the choice 2 people want to make together that is fine. However it isn't necessary.
I often hear people half joke about marriage isn't worth it. I say half because I do believe there are passive grains of wisdom that those who speak this try to warn against the action. To a point it is alot of unnecessary sacrifice and loss of identity.
You forfeit yourself to legally merge with another person who is unique in their status and ideals. Which is bound to cause tension and turmoil at some point.
I see things often that people use it as an excuse to "stay together for the kids". This has been proven to be a horrible rational. First of all, don't be having kids until/if you are ever ready to. Plain and simple. 9.5/10 it leads to disaster with legal headaches and the child ultimately paying the price. Even if you stay together for them and don't get along. The child will still suffer from a hostile home where two people are simply coexisting rather then loving each other.
This is true too with the financial burdens of ring buying and planning for weddings. It's an archaic way to piss away alot of money that is critical to building a new couples future together.
For the religious types. God forgave people for doing far far worse shit in the bible. Those who preach damanation upon others will only see for that they recieve it for themselves.
Stop making people feel they need to do these stupid things inorder to stupidly court society. It is your life/lives live them as you wish without harm onto others.

7800 XT vs 7900 GRE
Building my first gaming PC and I I’ve gotten all the parts picked out, but I’m torn between these two GPUs.
I’ve seen other threads and the most common thing I have seen is that it depends on the price difference. Right now the GRE is $80 more than the XT, but I’m new to building computers so I don’t know if that jump is worth it. I’m building a mid level PC so the max I’d like to spend would be the GRE that is currently $530 (if anyone had other suggestions).

Usually around christmas I ask my wife for a game underneath the tree, and I am considering FF16, but I am in real doubt and here is why.
I used to love FF, I played FF7 al the way to FF15, even played Dissidia Dou Decim om the psp. The last FF I finished was FF15, which I disliked. The story, the bromance and the combat didn't really do it for me, and I was like oh well, not every part can be good. Then I tried FF7 remake and I stopped halfway through. FYI: I just defeated Hellhouse, took me over 20 minutes because I did not have certain materia equipped. I HATED the combat, I was probably doing it wrong but I hate the fact that you have to "pause" the screen often to input commands, only for them to be eaten by an unanounced big attack of the boss you're facing, your teammates not doing anything and the fact that you technicaly have to hit a brick wall for a solid 3 minutes in order to create a window to do the actual damage did not really feel satisfying to me. I also did not like some things they did to the story but didn't bother me as much.
With this knowledge: do you guys recommend FF16 to me? Or is it too simular to FF7R in terms of combat?
Note: I do not hate on FF7R, it just wasn't my cup of tea, which is a shame because the original was one of my favorites. And again: I was probably doing it wrong, which I am not used to since most combat systems in games click rather quickly with me
