No output on new RX 7800xt

Just built a new PC - r7 7700x, rx7800xt, b650 tomahawk and crucial pro 6000, corsair rm850e
As the GPU took longer to arrive I built the rest- worked well.
Now I installed the gpu- no monitor output. Neither on the hdmi port on the card nor on the onboard hdmi port.
I took the card out - everything worked. Put the card back in, checked every connection - black screen.
The PC is running, passing the motherboards check fine (led turn off as usual) - fans, even on the gpu - turn.
I took out the cmos battery and restarted - nothing.
Monitor is from 2023, checked with TV an another HDMI- Cable - nothing.
Any input?

I’m homebrewing an Old Republic campaign for my players, right as the Sith Empire emerges from deep space to begin the Great Galactic War.
I’m compiling a database of factions, companies and key players so I can reference them later, but also help my players feel a bit more comfortable.
Namely I’m thinking of criminal syndicates, big commerce guilds, and really whatever makes the galaxy run at the moment.
Anyone have any previous experience or thoughts?

Here is my situation:
- Newbie to MSFS, having fun with trainings etc
- Took gamepass membership, timing it such that it runs out around when MSFS 2024 is launched
- plan was to switch to MSFS 2024 + purchase fsacademy.co.uk pack and get started seriously
- I purchased MSFS 2024 :(
I’m kinda stuck.
Should i buy gamepass for the time being and fsacademy packs for 2020? I’m ok with the cost of gamepass for a couple months till 2024 stabilizes, but I don’t know if my fsacademy purchase will be preserved and reused in 2024.
Feeling a bit frustrated, and unsure of what I should do right now… help!
