2024.11.26 21:30 Ramin-Ram The Harfoots
Okay this maybe dragged out and kinda late since I just started the show, but I hate the harfoots and their storyline. The people are annoying and ungrateful (at least on the first 6 episodes in season 1) and the storyline just doesn’t seem to fit the shows vibe and in my opinion slows it down an unnecessary amount. It also makes me feel like it takes away from Frodo and Sam’s story in the originals especially since the stranger (Gandalf) is with them. Feels like a cop out but please correct me if I’m wrong and feel free to add your opinions I am very open to my mind being changed.
P.S. I also know I’m not done with the show so if things change in season 2 or something like that please let me know

2024.11.26 21:30 Super_Witty_ Considering buying a property with a Pier/Beam foundation. I just wanted to share this picture of how the “beams” are laid out. It was built this way 30 years ago. You might say the floors sag a bit, lol.
I can’t even keep a pillow fort from collapsing. I have zero knowledge of (or even aptitude for) such things. But this seems pretty dumb to me. Maybe I’m off base. To me, if you’re going to use popsicle sticks to support weight, at least turn them on their side.

Hi, Just asking this post for help, and it feels like I'm falling down the incel rabbit hole. Might as well say how it got to this point. I'm 19 years old and have been drawn into these extreme beliefs. I've always struggled with depression, self-esteem issues, and generally problems with attracting women.
Over time, it felt like I'm too ugly for a relationship and seeing all the posts through social media about women wanting men who have perfect jawlines, are 6 feet rich, and are "bad boys" or whatever. I feel like this is true due to the fact that I've seen people who have bullied me in the past get girlfriends with no issues. Recently, I've deleted Instagram from my phone for the sake of not being recommended stuff and muting words on Twitter.
Over time, I've just become angry and resentful towards society and have started to hate women because of how lonely I am because of stuff out of my control; like nobody asks to be born ugly, poor, or only 5'6; do they?
Sure, I have multiple female friends more than male friends, plus I had a year-long relationship with the only person who wanted me to end earlier this year, but still, it's made me give up entirely on relationships, and it's depressing, and it's really given me suicidal thoughts and intrusive thoughts. To improve my situation, I've taken the gym going once a week to improve my physique due to my body being really skinny and feminine.
Honestly, I just want to stop this cycle of misery, and it makes me want to break down into tears every day, and always being ghosted or rejected has really made me feel even more resentful.

Hello, I would like help with something very specific
I wanted a way to be able to click on predetermined places randomly in the background of the computer. To give you a better context, there is an application called Crown Control, it is made for streams, where basically the chat interacts with your game, and it seemed fun to me, very similar to the Chaos mod for Minecraft or Grand Theft Auto, but I don't have a chat nor am I a streamer, and there are no mods for the games I would like to test, like Elden Ring and Dark Souls. So I would like to kind of be the chat itself through the app's test mode, making it randomly select what will happen every 1 minute for example. There are two possible ways to click, either through the browser or through the application itself. I tried some applications using Python but I don't have enough knowledge about it to develop something like that.
I've been trying something for months, because for me it would be really fun to try something like that, if anyone can somehow give me an idea or help, I would be eternally grateful.
