I recently got into this hobby and I started panel lining. I’m using gundam pour type markers and I’m lining on the runners.
I want to re-scribe for clearer lines or getting into spaces without indentations (corner pieces).
Do people who that re-scribe do them directly on the runners? The tutorials I’ve seen online directly scribe/pour on pre-built sections which seems to be not recommended for pour type markers.

So my plan was to run a Eaton M112 on my e38 but Partspy the marker of the kit I was going yo hey hiked up the price from like 600 to over 2k. So what really are the options here? I'm looking for a used kit atm. Honestly if I'm gonna pay 2k+ I kinda feel like I should just find a v3 supercharger used or some shit. And not a Partspy kit that's on its last call for production that most likely won't have support if anything goes wrong. Opinions would be appreciated.

2024.11.26 18:50 Guidothenatureguide One week from "launch" - Comments and Help Requested
It has now been a week – well, almost, since nothing worked for the first four days – and as I actually get some flying time I have kept a list of issues and observations. Forgive me if I go too long. Some of these things are user misunderstandings or errors (or lost in the convoluted interface), others bugs, and still others just general remarks. To establish my parameters, I have a fully adequate rig and sufficient bandwidth. My peripherals are the usual: HOTAS, pedals, mouse, keyboard. I am not a noob (but not a licensed pilot irl), having about 1.5k hours of flight time in MSFS 2020. I do not fly airliners except very occasionally, preferring prop planes and small jets. Low and slow (except in warbirds) for me. With that said, here is my long list. To the extent any of you have help to offer when my issue is clearly my incomprehension, please assist. I will greatly appreciate it. And no, I don’t need trolls telling me how stupid I am or chastising me for buying early.
1. Binding peripherals is a monument to frustration. I seem to have succeeded with the HOTAS, but the mouse view bindings are driving me crazy. When I try to freelook in the cockpit view, using the right mouse button, the view shifts rapidly and very briefly in the intended direction, but immediately slews back to the forward position, thus rendering impossible the use of instruments that are not directly in front of the pilot. Try switching fuel tanks on a P-38 with this issue, since the tank switch is near the pilot’s feet. I know I have not bound the correct formula. I tried copying (by hand notation!) the settings from 2020 but the nomenclature has changed and is not clear to my muddled brain. This is a MAJOR problem for me and any suggested bindings to correct the issue would be welcome. The freelook view works fine in external view, but not cockpit view.
2. Speaking of peripheral bindings, is it necessary to go into settings every time I switch planes? That seems to be the case at the present. No more just designating departure and arrival airports and hopping into the plane. It now seems to take a dozen or more steps before starting each flight. [Choosing "direct" in the EFB seems to do nothing. It does not eliminate the sids and stars, once insisting on a flight path that detoured literally into another state.]
3. Some terrain is outstanding – e.g. the Grand Canyon – but some is worse than 2020. For example, over flat terrain the checkerboard pattern is very noticeable.
4. Lots of graphical glitches, as apparent by the hilarious screenshots being posted.
5. Although Asobo claimed that “most” of the 2020 marketplace purchases and out-of-marketplace addons would be compatible, that was clearly a lie. Of the former, some do not show up at all, and the ones that do all have issues. These examples:
a. NO addon liveries show up for selection in the plane configuration screen, even though they are listed as streamed. Indeed, in some cases, even plane variants do not show up, such as the Daher Kodiak variants.
b. The transferred planes have both control and appearance issues. The Wilga has a flashing box artifact right in front of the pilot window. It also has no sound at all in the cockpit – no engine noise, no communication, nada. The P51 has no animations on the right side of the plane.
c. Addon airports (that do show up and stream) either completely revert to the generic airport or have graphical anomalies. Again, an example: Hogback Ranch (which is a //42 addon) has trees in the runway, blue grass filling the pool, and odd colorations.
6. Absolutely nothing is recognized in the community folder, neither shortcuts nor the full data files.
7. ATC voicing is hit or miss. Once in a while I have voices (and text), but usually all ATC controllers are on strike – no communication whatsoever.
8. The ship names are cool, but is it possible to turn them off without also disabling the names of planes (both actual and sim pilots)? I haven’t found it.
9. I understand this is probably just a learning curve, but I find the whole user interface convoluted, complex, and frustrating.
10. I like and want the taxiway assist because the taxiways are often mismarked, the signage so small that I can’t read it, or I am in a taildragger with no decent view of the tarmac. In 2024, unless this, again, is user error, whenever I have on the taxiway assist, it also puts on those hugely annoying and unwanted blue brackets in the sky for landing assist. Is this fixable, deliberate, or a bug?
Thank you to those of you with slightly longer attention spans than is normal these days for considering this whole post. As I play longer I am sure more issues will become apparent, as they certainly have for you as well, but this is a few days’ worth. I am glad I have not tried the career mode, as most posts suggest it is an utter disaster. I continue to believe that Microsoft deliberately forced the release of a (not even) beta build so we could pay to be testers. I also recognize that user malfeasance is probable in some situations, so help is welcome.

Yet, I was (for some reason) with:
Doom, Pudge, Monkey King, Jugg (not interested in using Q like ever ever), then the last time it was the best - I was simply alone
I don't know what to do to have a normal, won lane?

Every time he asks a question, it’s like a simple question, but one I go like “huh, yeah, why is that the case?” He’s pretty fresh and not super versed, but clearly smart and MOST importantly on the left: he’s not pseudo-intellectual and will not pretend to understand something he doesn’t. Breaking that barrier, where a leftist in the audience actually understands a situation, as opposed to just prescribing ideology uncritically on it because that’s what the people they follow do, man it’s hard to overstate how impactful it is, it’s like flipping a light switch.
That’s when I realized it. Rele the archetypical Normie. That was his asset whenever he’s in drama streams playing straight man to unhinged lunatics, and that’s his asset here in political streams. He’s a dry run, and a litmus test: If loner can explain something to rele in a way that builds his comprehension, its a sign he’s got the framework organized the right way, he’ll get the right questions to address in his mind, and he’s got a blueprint when he has to organize his thoughts to reach out to larger audiences, like the recent H3 audience.

Hello, everyone. I don't know what I want to achieve with this post. Share my story, get some words of encouragement. I'll try to keep it short
TRIGGER WARNING!
23 M from Eastern Europe. I started gambling when I was like 14. At first it was skin betting, some of my friends did that, and so did I. For 4 years it wasn't really a problem, I didn't spend a lot of money and it didn't consume all my life. Then I turned 18 and I was able to bet real money legally. Again, it wasn't that time-consuming, but it definitely became a big part of my life. The turning point was 4 months starting in spring of 2019 when I deposited around ~$300 I've been saving from birthday gifts and stuff. In those 4 months I turned $300 into $20000. I could withdraw and enjoy this overwhelming amount of money, but my pride got the better of me and i lost it all. I couldn't recover since then, been chasing this loss untill now
Now I'm almost 24, I do have a degree, but my GPA sucks and I don't have experience since I spent my last 2 years of uni gambling like a degen, rather than trying to get internship or something). The last two month were the worst. I've maxxed out my credit cards and took a ton of loans (~$1300 in cc debt and about the same in super high interest loans). My job is inconsistent and doesn't pay by the hour, i get paid for tasks done (if i grind, i could get to like $1200 a month). I'm already late on some of the loans which means my mom will soon find out. Even though the best course of action would be sharing it with her, i'll to keep it a secret ( i don't want to get into that).
I'm im at the rock bottom. The amount of money and precious time wasted is painful to even think about. I'm tired of all of that
My plan is to:
- stop gambling starting today
- grind hard so i can get rid of the debt as fast as possible
- save some money
- try to get another job(probably undpaid or internship) related to my degree
