So I post a lot about how bad this show is and someone was concerned about how much I hate the show, so I decided to post again to really drive the point home. 💅🏽
It actually is fascinating when trying to figure out the reasons behind some of the baffling decisions made in that writer’s room.
Why change Galadriel from powerful, wise, revered, and Amazonian…to shortsighted, easily bamboozled, disliked and Amazonian?
Why change her motivation from a desire to rule and create order - something that actually does bring her closer to Sauron - to a single minded desire for revenge? And only for her brother, but not her husband.
Why change elves from only able to love one person at a time and mourn a dead spouse for eternity to exactly the same as humans?
Why change the tradition of Durin the Deathless? The Fading of the Elves? The origins of Hobbits? Numenorean long life and abilities? The powers of mithril? The purpose of the rings?
Because they didn’t like the story they paid shit tons of money to adapt. Because they think a complicated plot is a complex story.

I would get soooo mad that my hair would start glowing and my eyes would go black and I would start floating. I was so powerful one of my other boyfriendz busted into the room! You might know him. His name is JEFF and he's SOO SCARY AND HE WILL KILL YOU GRRR. He rawrz at me and I rawr back and bite my lip. Anyways he looks at Cassandra and he says "GO 2 SLEEP!" AND she screamz like a poser. But then the other host dave touches his face and tellz him "you aren't like this, jeff". And Jeff stahps. So like Cassandra is so totally scared and izayuh tells her to buzz off because shez a poser normal. I read the story so perfectly that itz so gud and so scary that everyone stands up and claps just for me. Izayuh and Dave decide to have me as the permanent hottie on the podcast who's so smart and never wrong and so metal. Anycuntz, that's how it should have gone. But ughh sometimez NORMIEz prevail.

I’ll be taking Eurostar from London St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord on Thursday this week, and returning back to London on Sunday.
What’s the best pass to get through the IDF Mobilités app?
Day 1 Thursday will be staying around 2 Place de clichy, travelling to 6 Charles de Gaulle-etoille
And then travelling to Kleber, then taking 1 towards palais royal musee du Louvre. Also travelling to George V 92 Av des champs.
Day 2 - from 2 place de clichy towards metro 4 barbes-Rochechouart towards Cite. Then going towards 10 cluny la sorbonneand/Odeon.
Javel-andre-citroen-gare de Versailles
Day 3 from 2 place de clichy towards Disneyland
I don’t know how the card system works, I would prefer to have something easy to work with, in terms of using metro and railway. Can someone point me towards what’s the best things I can buy to travel around? Shall I get a top up pass? Or is there something that covers all of this for 3/4 days? Happy to hear for recommendations to help this poor chap.

I started taking Wegovy in June at 244lbs. Now in November, I’m only down to 224. I’m so so grateful for the 20lbs I’ve lost, but others I’ve spoken to had much more significant results in the same time or less. I know Wegovy isnt a miracle drug but with how hard the side effects have been for me, I wish it did more. I still feel like I look the same, and I certainly still feel the same way about myself. Looking for advice, encouragement, or a rude awakening from others who have felt like this?

Hello,
I'm explaining my need: I'm a non-athletic person who has been trying to get into physical activity for a few weeks now (through virtual reality, which allows you to move while having fun).
I'd like to see how I compare to official recommendations (like those from the WHO). I have a Mi Fit band that calculates "PAI" (Personal Activity Antelligence) points, based on heart rate. This roughly measures the amount of physical effort performed, taking into account intensity (knowing that you can sometimes do a lot of physical activity outside of workout, simply by walking or climbing stairs). It's a bit like the cardiopoints in Google Fit.
You need 100 PAIs/week to meet the official recommendations. Problem: this band is not accurate when the effort becomes intense, so in the end, the calculated PAI have little value.
That's why I'm considering getting a Polar H10 (very accurate heart rate measurement, especially when the heart beats fast), and maybe a Polar watch as a complement (to measure heart rate outside of exercise... because I don't know if you can wear the Polar H10 24/7)
My question is: is there, among the apps compatible with the Polar H10, any app that can calculate a kind of PAI or something equivalent? And to know where you stand in terms of health recommendations? Do I need to combine it with a watch?
