2024.11.26 19:59 thegr8northern Question: is it still to be determined whether Fromville was created pre-child sacrifice or post sacrifice as a result of the sacrifice itself?
I see a lot of people talking about it as if it’s been revealed that Fromville (as the metaphysical town that traps people inside it) existed pre child sacrifice. I don’t see that having been revealed yet, and would assert that it’s also very likely it was simply just a normal small town with residents who came across some odd magic, and so on… and only AFTER fulfilling it by sacrificing their children, did the town entrap them and create these new magical parameters.
The counter argument would be: Well, if that’s the case then what town was this before? Did it just disappear off the face of the map? I would assume that the actual town still exists in the outside world as a normal town, but its duplicate was created as Fromville post sacrifice. Obviously an assumption.
The other argument would be - well then why are random people being pulled into Fromville that have nothing to do with the original residents and the sacrifice/monsters? I’d respond by saying that they all are connected. Since we know the original two (Jade&Tabitha) were opposed to the sacrifice and tried to save the children - and died doing so - the energy they left was carried into others outside of Fromville and their “energy inheritors”, but simultaneously others “connected” them somehow would also get pulled. Miranda was the energy inheritor of her predecessor savior archetype. But Victor and Eloise were connected to her and got pulled in too. Same with Tabitha.
There were likely others who originally lived in the town and didn’t turn to monsters, fled, etc. and their energy inheritors are the other people in the town currently.
Just a guess.

 | I just need some advice. So my gecko Theodore was bought from Petco and I was given whatever money to buy anything I needed for his enclosure from a dying relative for me for Christmas last year. It all costs about 400-500$ Anyway after a year of him being healthy and everything. "He is slightly overweight" I found out I'm supposed to take geckos and reptiles to the vet to test for parasites directly after buying them. And I really don't have the money for that since I'm making minimum wage and barely getting by. I breed dubia roaches "he really likes them" and superworms "for a treat maybe one a week at most" He seems very healthy and he has all the correct supplements so should I worry about this until I get another job that pays better? I love Theodore but at the moment I just can't afford to drive 2 hours and pay maybe a hundred or 200$ for something if he is not actively sick. But if I just plan on waiting until I'm making enough money to take him to the vet Im assuming he should be fine right? Instead of having objects leaving smooth trails behind, it more so looks like every moving thing is choppy and skipping frames. I cant even follow hand gestures as the movement seems to disappear. Scenes on TV skip frames. I dont have the thing of lights leaving trails, its just choppy/glitchy vision. It has not even been 3 months and I already get this.

So this has probably been answered already, but I would like to ask it anyways.
I am on the Xbox version of XCOM 2 War of the Chosen and made a about a handful of characters in the pool, 3 of them being Templars. When one of them who joined me at the start of the game, promoted, they did not become the class I made them to be (which was a Templar). I also have a few questions about it.
Why did the game change my class?
Is there a way for me to retrain said person to be the class that I chosen for it and if not, then what is the point of said character pool if it just ignores all the hard work I put into creating them in the first place?

I used the service twice, last year and this year. None of my packages got delivered. I used their service on the 15 Nov to send the GED transcript to my relatives who live in Inglewood. My relative is going back to Thailand and the document is needed to bring back there. As usual, the staff never paid attention and were busy working on their own stuff even though I was the only customer there. As the document was in old development, I asked him "Do I need to change the new envelop? because I used priority mail. He said no need. It ended after 10 days, and the package was delivered back to my address due to reason "new envelope is needed".
- It turns out the staff don't even know the priority envelope is needed.
- The staff didn't even give the tracking number until I asked him and waited for 15 min.
At the end, they apologized and offered to send the documents to Thailand at their own cost. But I am like, thanks...but not again.
Guys, just use UPS or other services. Run from Bronco Mail & Copy.

25 F and since I can fully remember ever since I was a child I did not like the holidays. I enjoyed it with my family growing up but deep down in the pit of my chance I would always get this numbness feeling and ache in my chest. Now that I’m older I don’t do much holiday activities. Sometimes I wonder why I’ve always been like this. Even when I was in a relationship I really wouldn’t be down for holiday activities with him. I feel so numb and lost especially right now. I been single for 1.5 years ( my ex of 7 years cheated on me), I don’t have any kids and my friends are busy with boyfriends. Don’t have effort or even want to put up decorations, Christmas shop or do any festivities just really waiting for the season to end. I been trying my best to keep my self mentally sane since I do go to the gym a lot and stay pretty active and other small hobbies. But deep down there’s just that numbing pain that hurts my chest. I’m really open with how I feel with my parents and family but they are all extremely emotionally unavailable and do not believe in mental health. ( Hispanic parents). Sometimes I feel like if this is all due to unresolved child hood trauma. But that’s a whole other story with how my parents and family are. To sum it up they are extremely emotionally unavailable and didn’t show me much affection growing up. I feel so alone even though I’m not alone at the same time. Just needed to get this off my mind.
