2024.11.26 22:36 itsjustsquid Building an interactive background for my corn! I may have messed up, any tips or ideas on what I can do?
 | So, here's a new tank i recently got for cheap. I need to put in some mesh wire on the top but today I finally started the project. Last week I put silicone on the back wall and then used spray foam today and planted some things on the back. I actually thought it was black foam spray but turns out it wasn't. After placing cork bark and a branch on there, I ran out of time to pour dirt over the foam so that it doesn't look like foam. I still did it anyway but there's no way it's going to stick on there. With the new leak of ML Hwayoung releasing soon, it confirms that there won't be a single ML5 male releasing this year, nevermind that it'll be over a straight year since the last release (Ludwig).
Combined with the fact that there's no limited units whatsoever, that leaves us with a grand total of just 4 RGB 5* units released this year - the same as 2023.
Compare that to this year's total of 7 (soon to be 8) female ML5s and 6 (soon to be 7) 5* RGB females, it paints a bleak picture indeed.

So, as the title implies, I am having financial troubles and my car insurance has been overdue for payment along with other bills coming up that I currently do not have enough funds for. My request is for $3,500 total. Attached is my GoFund Me link and my Amazon Food Wishlist link.
For context, my boyfriend/partner lost his job about a month ago and it has caused a tremendous decline in my finances as a result of one less form of income being abruptly halted. I got a call earlier today stating that my car insurance would cease due to lack of payment. The job I currently work requires me to have a reliable and insured method of transportation. I have the reliable part down, but the insurance is the kicker. I am requesting $220 to cover the costs of my insurance to make sure it stays active. That will give me enough money to cover how much it is overdrawn/overdue from (since I have the Allstate Milewise program that I am participating in) as well as give me a little buffer until I can afford to pay again hopefully.
I had spoken to customer service when I was called earlier in the day about hopefully making some kind of adjustment to help me out. Unfortunately they told me the only solution was to pay up. So I am sitting here before you to request any help I can get. I will DM you the details of payment should you offer yourself up to help. Thank you so much and I appreciate any and all assistance. I will also provide images showing that my insurance is overdue and in need of renewal.
Additionally, I have other obligations to pay on that I fear being late. A deferred citation, rent, and the light bill we share with our roommate.
As of reposting this request, my boyfriend/partner has been approved for unemployment but the amount he is receiving will not be sufficient for covering bills and as a result in will still require financial assistance.

In the telecom cell site world, 180kwh lithium Ion batteries have cause problems with self destruction. this destroys all of the equipment in the cabient as well as the cabinet. This takes out the option of using them on a rooftop because we dont want to burn the building down. So we cannot trust them.
In having issues with a 12KW -48VDC power supply dropping supply voltage down to the point that other electronic components shut off, we were thinking of using super capacitors in place of batteries on sensitive sites to fix the problem of the DC power supply.
What are your thoughts?

2024.11.26 22:36 HalfFrozenSpeedos move immich instance from windows 11 pro on one machine to linux mint on another?
So I experimented with Immich on my main desktop and really like it, however the desktop power usage is pretty high vs a mini pc I have, now the desktop happily imported my 250K+ photos without issue albeit it took it over 18hours (AMD 7900X, 64GB DDR5, Fast NVMe storage and a 4090 GPU - hence the high power use) now I've picked up an N97 mini pc which is running linux mint and which uses a fraction of the power that my desktop does (15W+any SSD/HDD attached for storage)
Despite being technically inclined (for my sins I have a bachelors degree in Applied Computing aka Comp Sci) however I'm really struggling to get my head around how to do this, particularly as linux drive naming conventions are entirely different to windows so I'd REALLY appreciate some serious help in getting my head around this as I'm utterly lost right now.
Can anyone advise me on how to do this please?
