Hello! I have already ask this question in the Oblivion subreddit but I didn't get any real answers (outside of "GOG is better because DRM-free") so I'm asking here : I've read from some comments (like this one : https://new.reddit.com/oblivion/comments/1bk5luf/comment/kvw9r5u/ ) that the steam version has the 4gb patch installed since a few months, but I can't find the answer anything else, if someone can confirm...
I've also read that the GOG version is apparently more stable, but you will not be able to install some modlist. Which one do you recommend? I will not modded the game a lot at first, but it might happen later.

I have been stuck in plat for quite some time now. I duo queue most of the time and I main Jarvan jungle with 60% winrate. I have just shy of 100 games. The only thing I think I can do is just to play more but still with a 60% wr it's getting annoying. I also haven't seen Jarvan played a single time. I don't know why people don't play him. He's not too complicated, has a slow, dash, as bonus, nice passive, he can escape with his dash quickly and he can build into a lot of stuff. I am open for tips

 | Many people think that Danny just wanted to get rid of his powers or Phantom or something but no, it’s actually the opposite He wanted to fully become a ghost without his humanity, he wanted to complete remove Danny Fenton. (Which technically he was successful in lol) The really dark part comes when you ask yourself what they were originally planning to do with Fenton before Phantom went berserk. Fenton is completely under anesthetic and locked in some kind mechanical restraint monitoring his vitals, with Vlad looking at him sadly. I always used to ask myself why would they go through all of that when Danny has easily split himself before without risk. There’s two possible explanations. The first (and probably most likely) one is that they were planning on leaving Human Danny under anesthesia and locked away for the rest of his life, while Phantom lived on without the grief. The second (and darker) explanation is that Danny asked Vlad to painlessly end his human self while he was peacefully sleeping under anesthesia. Think about it, what’s the point of Danny trying to “get rid of his painful emotions” if half of him would still have to feel them while the other half didn’t, and why else would Human Danny be locked up like that, why wouldn’t Vlad just put him in a bed or something? There’s also the fact that Dark Danny considers the procedure a success, as in it was always meant to go that way. As stated above, I have a 2007 Honda accord coupe. Around 200k miles. The timing belt broke and motor seized up. Was quoted 4k to replace with used motor. Car isn’t worth that much. Looking to sell for parts or scrap. It’s sitting at a shop so I would have to pay for towing. Any advice is much appreciated. I have no idea what I am doing. Located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

2024.11.26 20:37 libah7 Am I overreacting to the work this drywall subcontractor is doing and the way the parent company is handling it?
TLDR: drywall subcontractor isn’t respecting my space/time and doing poor work. Not sure if my concerns are valid and how to proceed.

This is long so if mods need to delete it I understand. I just need some professional opinions.
I had to get my ac replaced and home repiped at the same time. We went with the company that had great reviews and would include drywall repair in the quote/single payment. As you can imagine this whole project is quite costly.
Our home is such that we have no attic so they cut roughly 47 holes in our ceiling and walls. We do have popcorn ceilings in some places. We were quoted $4500 for just the drywall.
Plumbers and electrician were fantastic. Kept the place clean and worked with me as I have an infant daughter who I need to keeps safe and occupied while the work was being done. Took about 5 days and they saved about 98% of the cutouts for the drywall. They told me they talked to the next company and I would just need to leave the runners down and drywall guys would bring their own drop cloths.
Drywall started the following Monday. Worked from 9am-230. They used one plastic sheet over the mirror in the bathroom, which they drilled into the wall. The other guy used a filthy cloth sheet which he dumped on the floor every time he moved it. One of the guys smoked a cigarette every time he went outside to make any cuts. They cut a ton of new pieces even though most were available. They did not clean up after themselves. Left a pile of drywall pieces on top of my daughters foam climbing gym (which was picked up and moved out of the way in a room they weren’t even currently working in), didn’t cover some laundry I had in the laundry room while doing a repair above it, left screws on the floor, used my hose and didn’t put it back and to top it all off, they left piss in my toilet. One guy told me that he was going to mud all the holes in the hallway and hall bathroom before he left, he did 1 in each and half one in the bathroom and basically ran out.
I called the company and told them what happened, sent over pictures and told them I didn’t feel comfortable with this team continuing the work and wanted someone else. They told me they’d find someone else. They repeatedly told me they’d never had issues with these guys before but my concerns were valid.
They sent over a guy the next day who I was told would be working alone, so it would take longer, but he was a perfectionist. He arrived around 5pm and informed me he was booked out so could only work in the evenings for about 2 hours. He did that for 1 day, day 2 he had 2 guys with him, told me he’d arrive on Saturday with 3 other people at 7am. He arrived alone at 11:15am.
After Saturday there were still only about 15 holes with pieces in them and maybe 6 with mud. We were leaving to go out of town on Thursday and I was promised the work would be done before that, and it was clear that wasn’t going to happen.
I called the company again and told them that I found it frustrating that they couldn’t make a project this big a priority, that they kept promising things they weren’t delivering on, that they only had 2 available companies was extremely surprising, and that I wanted the work paused until I came back from my trip and I wanted compensation for this. The head of the “home services” department suggested we get the work finished while we were out of town (which I didn’t love) and that he would talk to his boss. He kept repeating to me that “we’ve never had issues with those first guys before.”
I eventually got a hold of his boss, the company owner, after calling multiple times to speak to someone as the other guy never called me back and kept getting shorter with me.
The owner assured me he would personally oversee this situation. The repairs would be done while we were gone and that he had multiple other companies he could go with. He offered me $1500 off the cost which I agreed to. He sent over a new company to take a look and get him a quote.
While we were gone we saw that they sent over the first team. I was upset but we were out of town with family and I thought, the company owner is involved, they have to be better. They worked for a few hours Thursday night, Friday all day and Saturday all day. We had informed them we wouldn’t be home until late Monday if they needed the extra day. They did not work Monday.
When we got home all the patches had pieces and “texture.” It was clear they barely cleaned up. They left drop sheets and masking tape, a tiny hand broom and dust pan. There was a piece of metal and bits of insulation on the floor. They had patched over wall anchors and a curtain rod bracket in our kitchen that literally could have been avoided with that masking tape they left behind. They didn’t cover the washer and dryer while doing a repair so there’s overspray on the back of them and that patch isn’t even complete. It looks like they skipped mudding all together as there is still exposed drywall. The big pieces in our ceilings are so uneven and not flush at all. There’s cracks in the gaps. One patch in the hall bath had a hole, extra mud lip and overspray. There’s another textured with exposed drywall spot in our master bathroom. The texture is all over the place and doesn’t seem to match anything. They took off an outlet faceplate and didn’t replace it.
So I called the owner this morning and was basically like, dude, wtf. Not only is everything not done, but what is is a mess and he sent the same company without our approval. He offered to come look. When he got here he told me that the company had texted him saying they were done, but when he reached out today they told him they still had to com back. He told me both that the popcorn ceiling repairs were fine, but also my concerns were valid. He told me he wanted to be sure this was finished and done right and that I just need to tell him when.
After discussing with my partner we decided we want them to not only finish but fix the spots that aren’t flush and have cracks. I sent a message to the owner and have not heard back yet.
I am not a drywall person but I’ve done my own patches in the past and I just feel like the quality of a professional for the job I’m paying for should be way better than this. It just feels so unprofessional and inconsiderate.
At this point I’m not sure what to do. I don’t like this companies work, but they won’t send anyone else. Should I tell them I won’t pay and get someone else out to fix/finish? Do I let them fix it? Are my concerns even valid?

I've played WoW for a long time. I got sick of classes I played not being good for entire expansions.
I'm just now realizing that every class in Diablo is trash compared to Spiritborn. They're clearing max content in a few minutes, where other classes will never see max content this season. Is this normal for Diablo?
Then again it just shows how trash Blizzard is at making balanced games. I wonder why they come out with so many classes but can't handle balancing them.
