I don’t know if this has been brought up before but JCs chat is always like heavily pressuring him to drink. Like literally he’ll do anything and they’ll all be like “omg take a shot” or “have a drink to celebrate”. Like a few days ago right before Kian and JC did the TikTok shop review his chat was like demanding they take a shot. I just remember JC was talking about taking a break from alcohol before so he clearly has somewhat of issue with it, so I can only imagine how hard it is when your chat is yelling at you to drink all the time

2024.11.26 21:33 themanofmeung Is it legal to run out of bounds to get out of a crowded space?
Wfdf rules - this came up in practice yesterday and I can't find a clear answer in the rules. A handler was trapped on the sideline and a teammate made a hard cut to the sideline for a dump. The pass didn't come and they continued to run out of bounds by a couple meters in-order to more quickly clear the dump lane for the next player to cut into.
We can't figure out if this is allowed or not. Based on 11.7, "players may go out-of-bounds to make a play on the disc", but this isn't exactly making a play on the disc. It's an ultimate play, but it's not "on the disc". So it's not explicitly allowed by the rules.
There is also the annotation, "it is bad spirit to intentionally leave the playing field and use players/objects on the sideline to disguise your location". The player left the playing field, but into wide open empty space. There was no disguising of any sort.
Based on that, the play doesn't seem to even reach the level of unspirited, let alone that of an infraction - Therefore it is not explicitly disallowed by the rules either. So my interpretation would be that a play like this is fine and probably even safer that trying to think of the boundary as a wall and squeezing through tight spaces.
Any thoughts? Something I'm missing?

I am really hoping that someone might have some insight on what's going on with our dog, Hamilton. He is 8.5 years old and has slept in the bed with my husband and I for the past 7 years.
A few months ago, he started waking up multiple times in the middle of the night. He sits up and pants and whines. Sometimes he sits on us (he is 75 pounds). Sometimes he just stands in the bed. Sometimes get gets off the bed and whines. Just will not settle. He does not need to go to the bathroom. Eventually we can force him back to lay down and go to sleep - sometimes it takes a couple minutes, sometimes 15-20.
We have taken him to the vet and ran a bunch of tests on him in a "senior wellness" package - CBC, urinalysis, ECG, x-rays. He is perfectly healthy besides some arthritis in his back. We thought maybe he was in pain, so we started antiinflammatories and gabapentin. It did lessen the amount of night wakings for a few weeks, but they didn't go away and then came back as bad as before. So we tried laser treatments on his back - nothing. Then we tried Labrella shots for arthritis - nothing. Our vet does not believe that this is canine cognitive dysfunction or sundowners, partly because he's young for that and partly because he thinks that is over diagnosed.
Other points of information: - We recently had a family member who Hamilton loves watch him for a weekend. She slept in our bed with him and did not notice any whining or restlessness at all, but she does sleep with a CPAP so she possibly just didn't notice (though she would have noticed if he sat on her). - We had our first kid 17 months ago which was a big change and our cat died in January, another change. - We have noticed no difference in giving him a walk or playtime right before bed or not. - Hamilton is pretty attached to me. We spend most days together because I work from home. He doesn't have separation anxiety in the sense that he's destructive when I leave, but he is usually distressed if he can't be near me when I'm home (will cry at or scratch closed doors). - Sometimes he does this if I get to take a nap too, but mostly it's at night.
We are at the end of our rope. We're trying Fluoxetine but that takes several weeks to see if it helps - he's been on it 2.5 weeks so far and still nothing. Next step is a veterinary behavioral specialist, but that also has a long wait-list. It's heartbreaking having to kick him out of our room, but we really need sleep at this point. We have tried to keep him in the room and off the bed and that doesn't work either, so we unfortunately have to kick him out altogether.
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or input?

Hi, hoping someone can help my sanity. I have a bunch of discord groups that I am member. Not for gaming either, business and hobbies.
I use 1 server during the work day, and have "muted" every other server. I continue to hear that notification sound.
The only thing I can figure is that even if I mute a server, if someone puts @ everyone it still pushes that sound.
Anyway to stop this from happening on servers that have been muted?

My boyfriend is starting his first steroid cycle and has told me he will be injecting 1ml of Sustanon 250 (or sustamix) once a week for 12 weeks as his first cycle, he is planning on this being the only time he uses any kind of steroids and has planned PCT after he finishes.
We live in the UK and this kind of steroid is illegal as he hasn’t been to the GP and is buying from someone from a gym, He is 23 years old and also smokes weed everyday for years but recently even he has realised it’s making him more anxious and irritable. I really don’t want him to start using steroids as I am very aware of the risks and I am worried it might make his mental health worse and I don’t think it is a great solution. However he has made this decision on his own and I would rather support him than leave him on his own doing it anyway with no support, if anyone can help me with some advice to him I will show him all the replies, thank you.
