I see that Market Days is coming up on December 7. Having never been, I hope some of y'all can answer this -- the marketing page says "local artisans and vendors," but in my experience many of these events are clogged with people hawking MLM products (Scentsy, Young Living, DoTerra, LuLaRoe, Pampered Chef, etc.), or reselling cheap crap they bought wholesale somewhere else, and have very few people selling actual handmade stuff. What is the vibe at Market Days?

I currently live in the Netherlands and if all works out would be moving to London to start working at UCL with grade 8 payscsle that comes to about £3.5k per month. I would be coming along with my partner who works in IT and makes way more money than I do. To start off she won't have a job after the move,
- Would you recommend the move to London on this pay, I'm 30(M).
- My current work contract in NL ends in Feb. 2026 so I'd have to find another academic contract to continue ( not as easy in NL).
- Would my partner find a job easily, has 7+ years of experience and now works at a very big IT company in NL and is happy to support my career and move with me. Mainly because academic jobs are hard to come by and she could find a job easily compared to me.
- Previously lived in Australia and USA and moved to NL because of excessive racism and poor public transport infrastructure reasons.

Vocês conseguem se comunicar com as pessoas/tem respostas rápidas no e-mail/teams/slack? Meu sonho sempre foi trabalhar home office, e agora que finalmente consegui estou indignado com a demora que é para receber resposta de pessoas tanto do meu setor (T.I) quanto de outros setores.
Esses dias mesmo fui tirar uma dúvida com um rapaz da minha equipe e ele demorou 10 dias para me responder. Pior que que a demora parece que é meio cultural porque geral lá demora muito para responder um ou outro é a excessão.
Pessoal que já passou por isso, como lidaram com a situação?
