This is a formal complaint to the High Senate due to the continued disagreement and stalemate between our people (Thernati) and the people of the United Sol Nations (USN and/or Humanity), in regards to our criminal investigation of Network Vandalism AX8-78349-J63
Our investigative efforts have led us to know that a crew of humans (three suspected persons, see attached file 4) caused the mass file replacement in interstellar station Thern-6589. Records, procedures, broadcasts, of all types were replaced individually by a singular file of human design. This caused immediate function stoppage, collapse, and/or disruption to numerous station operations for nearly [2 Thernati sub-lunar weeks].
We understand this is due to the suspected crew having an ongoing social dispute with one of the station operators and being rejected from refueling an hour before the vandalism began. The station operator in question is an individual from one of our servitor species (Het) thus, as required by the laws of the Four Sector Conglomerate, we have taken the burden of effort to engage in civilized investigation and negotiations with the USN to resolve this crime.
That said the USN claims to lack "reasonable" control over their people outside their "realms of interstellar space" and has left apprehension of the criminal crew to utilize Conglomerate police and/or Thern resources. We have multiple sub-complaints in regards to their response and interaction:
- The Thernati Public understands that Humanity is a new addition to the conglomerate and the resulting technological leaps caused via joining the galactic community can be disruptive on multiple societal levels. BUT as per conglomerate laws new technology is to be restricted to civilians in a measured dispensary model as outlined by said law. The crew in question possessed a ship of and with capacities far beyond their current dispersion level, this reveals the USN is failing in maintaining conglomerate laws.
- The USN lacking "'reasonable' control over their people" is an outright lie. USN military operations have been seen far beyond their "realms of interstellar space" on several occasions (see attached file 8 through 22). Their small unit operatives function at near-capacity to long standing members of the conglomerate, showing the USN is fully capable of effectively apprehending their own persons at any place in the interstellar sea.
- Upon meeting in person with the two USN representatives and revealing the "replacement file" (see attached file 2) that replaced much of the station's static network, our representative witnessed odd and what we categorize as dismissive behavior from one of the humans.
When our representative explained that the file was broadcasted on every station display near max volume, the same human made a startling noise. The human explained it was a "cough" but post-analysis shows that human made a singular yelp that carries a similar intonation to their vocalization of humor. This was followed by increasing their self-restricted gesture (see attached file 6).
The humans explained the file was a mash of 2 hyper-accelerated animated cinemas using their clashing contrast to form a "third video" in which the sound was aligned. The meanings of these three instances of media were extremely convoluted and arbitrary (such as people made of layers, juvenile puns on self-realization, malicious sweet-crops, etc.), so much so we believe the human representatives are trying to distract and delay the investigation.
- We have taken economic loss from this criminal event and further expenditures to apprehend this crew would be financially insulting to the sector.
Thus we conclude that through laziness, ignorance, and dismissive humor the USN is refusing to up hold conglomerate laws and reciprocate respect towards the Thernati People. We are aware of other species and peoples with complaints numbering in the hundreds of thousands towards the USN. We plead with the High Senate to commit action to the USN's disregard for societal and civilizational decorum and harmony.

So, I had the fortune of talking to an attractive woman I spend basically 2.5 hours playing a game with her + 2 guys, she knew well, 1 of them was a really nice, older guy, the other one was a bit quiet but I was talking to her for the majority of it, ofc making sure to smile, and nod yes, and keep asking questions regarding the things she seemed interested about, and the conversation went really well, at the start she noticed I was a bit nervous/shaky but she just said I would be more comfortable if I took my jacket off which I then did.
It did help no idea why, I connected with her on a couple topics, I showed interest and asked questions after which she said that she thinks I'm intelligent (Caught me off guard, so I smiled) anyhow, at the end the logical part of my brain turned off, and I asked her age (I knew I shouldn't, but it just came out so I had to accept it in the moment), and she looked at me, without replying for a bit.
After I said should I guess? After which my guess was close according to her, but then she said: ''Never ask a woman her age'', so I acknowledged it by saying ''Yeah..'', and then she started facing away from me.. I felt like I messed up, but how would I go about salvaging this if I happened to have this same scenario again?

Not really sure where to begin. Over 2 years ago my corporate job took over another region that had a satellite office. We were given a week to learn everything before they were let go. Transition wasn’t perfect but we’ve come a long way.
Fast forward 2 years management is a mess. We’re split into separate divisions, I’m in one of the two from the takeover. We’re kept in a back room to fend for ourselves. I’m not someone who likes to watch things crumble so I started helping strictly my team by stepping up. I’m not a manger but I convinced the team of 12 to change certain work processes and we saw great improvement and lowered stress. The main pain point we always have is sales. They never listen, we understand that’s a given but damn these people are the bane of everything.
Our managers kept saying, “Oh just add us in the emails and we’ll help” they never do. We’re given guidelines to meet but because they never have our backs we fall short and then get told to do better and let us know how they can help. Just repeats.
I gathered tons of examples back in September and provided analytical feedback on each issue. I took it above both my manger and director to our president per our open door policy. He wasn’t happy and asked them to fix it.
In late Septmeber we had our yearly reviews. I was told I’m the best examples in solo worker, team player, and team supporter. But was told I’m highly toxic when it comes to communication, I know I’m hard on sales but I have to push back on illegal stuff they try to push in transportation. I asked for specific examples and how I can improve. They said they couldn’t provide any. They then went on and both began to cry (literally) because I went above them and didn’t trust them to fix our issues.
A 5 min meeting turned into an hour. My manager said, “if only been in this position 6 months. I haven’t had time to learn everything. You can’t hold me accountable.” I explained everything high and low of what needed fixed/how to and how their communication has to be backed. That if you say we will support you, you have to mean it or the team will fall. It got fixed and a few changes implemented that lasted barely a month. Monthly meetings never happened, 32 training hours added on top of our jobs.
Now November we’re having the same repeat issues. I keep telling the team to go to them face to face since I can’t say anything without being “toxic.” Changes are being made without communication, I asked today if I missed an email or something and now my director says I have something out for them because I provided the meeting PowerPoint they gave us for guidelines. I stated I will escalate to HR if needed because we just discussed this a month ago
I get I could leave but I can’t afford it with my family. I’ve been applying to jobs left and right with no luck
