So I used to work at this place and I had a single male coulleague my age who would check me out like crazy (looking at me/my butt, micking my body language what i say) he even approached me during the holiday party but i was in a relationship then and despite liking him didn’t respond to his signals. We mostly only spoke about work and that’s it. I was fired from this place a year ago and since then there has been no contact between the two of us.
He kept looking at my LinkedIn a while after I left. The most recent he looked at it was September-October.
I have this urge to just reach out to him but stop thinking if he will even respond (this is a high paying job, he likes it and has been doing it for 6+ years).
Thoughts? Part of me feels that I can have a true connection with him but I hesitate thinking if he even cares about me anymore since he never reached out after I left.

2024.11.26 23:40 MyNameIsOnlyDaniel Someone that has a Docker stack with Sonarr, Radarr, qBittorrent and Jackett (and more if you want)?

Hello.
I'm looking for a guide or a minimal guide or a docker-compose.yaml to make a stack with Sonarr, Radarr, qBittorrent and Jackett (and more if you want).
I deployed mine but I don't know why Sonarr sees the series but Radarr doesn't see shit although I can see all the files if I connect to console and list the /movies directory.
Spent 10 hours on my docker-compose.yaml for nothing. The qBittorrent for some reason doesn't work on another port that's not 8080...
Basically I want a guide about setting up these services as a stack and config them via Web UI.
ANY help is appreciated! 🙏

For anyone who had a rectocele going into your hysterectomy, did you find it helped or had no impact?
I spoke with my surgeon about having a repair at the same time as the surgery, but his recommendation was to wait and see if the hysterectomy and physio helped alleviate the symptoms. He’s philosophy is “don’t do extra surgery unless it’s absolutely necessary”, which I understand.
This stupid prolapsing stuff has been so distressing for years so I’m hopeful the surgery will help, but I know rectoceles are their own weird beasts and may not benefit.

So I invited my close friend to my house for weekend. I invited her saying she can stay on Friday, Saturday and returm on Sunday. Its been years since we met. She came and was sad about a break up and was very worried. She also said her stay was very bad. She was living in a shared house. So I said she can stay 2 more days if she wants. Dueing these stay she seemed to get annoyed and get angry on me at times. On first day me, my husband and friend all cooked together. While cooking she was giving instructions to me.while cooking. I dont like some one imstructing me while cooking. So I said I will do it my way and I dont like ro be told how to cook. She kept on explaimimg she meant this and that and was not instructing. I looked at her displeased and she suddenly stormed into the room and refused to eat. I was so sad and cried a lot. Again I let it go and apologised as she was going through tough time. On saturday night I spent listening to her till 2 am about her breakup. On next day while talking if in interrupt unintentionally she would get angry. But I let those go because I dont want her to feel more sad than she already is. So today while we were talking, I interrupted her by talking to my husband in between. And she got angry and commented what kind of psychiatrist you are, not even listening to your friend. You should be more kind. I said ask my husband whether I am kind. She replied I was not kind to her. I said I am not a psychiatrist 24 x7. And she was very serious and asked a psychiatrist should be first kind to their closed ones. It hurts a lot and I cried for 30 minutes in my room. Psychiatry is something I am very passionate about and this is the first time someone saying something like this. I am kind of acting cold towards her afterwards. She will be going tomorrow ie. Wednesday. I just want to let this out, so I am posting here.

Turns out apes feel threatened when other apes smile(showing teeth,we're like probably the only species that considers smiling a positive thing) or when they stare at them. Don't they understand that they're significantly stronger than us and could kill a grown human in maybe a second or two? He said that his character survived being transported through the space time continuum through a tachyon explosion. My reply is:
You're throwing stuff around you don't understand. Everything IS IN the space time continuum. The space time continuum is the fourth dimensional continuum of third spatial dimensions and one dimension of time. We ARE IN that, and constantly travel through it in all directions spatially, and forwards in time. I believe what you mean is time travel. If your character can be killed with time travel, they're pretty weak.
The thing is, I don't know if I'm 100% right. Although, why I said their character can be killed with time travel is because, remember, they said their character "survived" being "transported" through the space-time continuum. We, normal creatures, and essentially the rest of the universe are IN the space-time continuum, and are constantly travel/transport through it. Their statements lead to the implication that their character can be killed by time travel.
Though, what's bs in the image above is this is a basic principle of physics, and can't just be changed without consequences.
Am I the one in the wrong?
