She has a masters in engineering, and I didn’t go to college. I however made a career from social media, and currently make double her annual salary. From time to time she will get upset that I don’t know what things like “python” are, as well as me just not going to college in general. She isn’t abusive or anything, but it does come up from time to time and she can be demeaning about it in a subtle way. I told her that this shouldn’t matter. AmIoverreating?

Some stuff I like is camping and offroading,watching movies and shows (love thrillers), video games, music and walking my 2 dogs. I love PC gaming (warhammer, cod, bg3, no mans sky, minecraft), my music taste is fairly limited to be honest as all I listen to on the regular is metalcore and similar genres to that but happy to listen to other stuff aswell.

2024.11.26 23:37 pedr0vic Vector GP68 gpu not recognised until rebooted
As title, my Vector is having an ongoing issue where the GF 4080 gpu is not seen by the motherboard on first start up. It isn’t present in Device Manager nor MSI Centre and any attempt to play with the drivers in this state doesn’t remedy the problem. With a restart (although currently 2 restarts weirdly), the gpu will then be seen by the laptop and appear in device manager as normal.
I’ve seen a limited number of threads detailing the same issue and have tried the recommended fixes to no avail. So far I have:
- uninstalled, reinstalled driver
- deleted the now defunct GeForce Experience app (and game ready driver) and installed clean from nvidia direct.
- deleted the current nvidia app and installed clean from nvidia direct.
- turned off fast boot in windows and bios
- updated bios to current version
- reset EC controller
Thanks for reading and here’s hoping there’s something I haven’t tried 🤞🏻

tw: possible miscarriage
last week i took a pregnancy test (well, 5 pregnancy tests) and was blessed with a BFP.
one week later im in the ER for heavy bleeding and cramping. i’ve been told its a waiting game for the next few days until they can draw more blood to compare hcg levels.
anyway, this is my first pregnancy and my heart is hurting so much. especially since we are early along and no one knows. if you can, please pray for the safety and health of my baby and me.
