 | Last week I decided I wanted a 357sig. Not really sure why. So I ordered 2000pcs of brass off MeWe to start working. I ordered 3000 124gr hst extra outside of my 9mm stash. Just because I knew I was gonna get one. Wasn’t set on how. Was looking at 229s in 40 then doing the conversion barrel and changing stuff up some. Stopped at a little shop today in Tucson az. They had 5 229s in 40cal. A 226 in 40cal. Then this little bastard. It’s exactly what I wanted other than not being an elite. I guess I can’t win them all. Ordered 3 15rnd mags. A spring kit. Now looking at replacement sights and grips. Has the SRT kit in it already. And the bar dot sight set up, I’ve never shot them.  | Hi, I invested in a permanent light kit from ambientlights.com, but have been having trouble getting the material I ordered delivered to me. It's been two months, and at first they sent the wrong tracks, and now I found they missed a controller box. The only way I'll get this stuff installed by Christmas this year, is if I try to source the missing material myself. I have all the lights and one controller box, and have identified a handful of components that I can buy on Amazon. But I'm still can't figure out the connector that screws into the power supply and attaches to to the LED strip. Maybe if someone can help me ID the LED, I would be able to finish putting together the missing parts. Does anyone recognize the following LED strip? So for those who haven't seen the movie Fallen a malevolent entity can jump bodies by touching people with it's host body. So here's the rub:
You become a near immortal being but you can not exist outside of a "host". The rules are as follows:
You can remain in any animal host for a maximum of 36 hours.
While in a host you gain access to all the information/knowledge they possess.
Once you have "possessed" a host you can never return to their body after you leave.
If you leave the host better off than when you possessed them you maintain a 36 hour time limit per host. (This is subjective but you know their info so you know how to do that. It doesn't even have to be dramatically better.)
If you leave them worse than when you possessed them the only downside is you lose an hour to your max timer forever. So fuck over 36 people and you're dead.
If you are in their body and they die you die.
If you remain in a host longer than your max timer you become stuck. That is your body now and you die when it dies.
To switch bodies you must physically touch the body (skin to skin). Can be as little as a poke or even a handshake etc.
Who would you possess? What would you do? Would you just use your body jumping to pick someone you admire and live the rest of their life on their body? Would you fuck anyone over?

 | So, as much as I hate to say this, I don’t believe that the LaunchpadX and LaunchControl XL are currently compatible in a useful way for the MPC. After spending a lot of time going through and mapping controls over the last couple days, I found out some crucial things that have made these controllers pretty unusable for practical purposes. First, I found out that when you change track types (drums to plugin, for instance), you lose your MIDI mapping to that track. I had the volume faders set, I had the launchpad set to switch toggle the effects for each track on and off. And when I switched to a plug in and then switched it back, all the mapping be for that track was wiped away. I also lost the mapping for that track when I loaded a different drum program onto that track. Another problem I found is that when recording, if I was playing in the launchpad x, it would only record the first bar and then either not record anything after that, or it would be missing a lot of notes played (I tried so many ways to make it work, but MPC didn’t want to play nice. It would be also so nice if it was possible to map hardware buttons such as Q-links, but alas, that is not currently possible. I’m assuming the recording issue is a bug. However, I feel that the others are how they designed it. It doesn’t make sense that all the mappings go away when you load a new drum kit. Or that you change the track type. I put in a tech support ticket with Akai yesterday so hopefully they will give some good news on a workaround. I’m going to save the template and keep it on a hard drive for possible use later, as I hold onto hope that they will actually fix these issues but as far as it all goes right now, this endeavor is stalled. It’s a shame because I put a lot of time into building out this template just to find out it won’t be practical. Hopefully Akai reads these threads and will eventually make their machines a little bit more functional with outside MIDI controllers. I have always liked art but lately I have been loving it. Just a fan of looking at drawings, paintings, sculptures, architecture, photography, tattoos.
Lately I have been spending most of my free time trying to learn how to draw/paint
I work at amazon and go to community college
Also like to watch a lot of movies/tv/youtube
Some of my fav shows are; Better Call Saul, Its Always Sunny in Philly, White lotus, game of thrones, the office, south park.
For movies I like horror like the first scream movie or silence of the lambs
Also into fantasy like lord of the rings and the star wars prequel trilogy
Bad Santa is another movie I love
I read sometimes, skateboard, play guitar acoustic/electric, like going to state/national parks. Into road trips and traveling when I can.
I haven’t been playing any games lately but I do like gaming and grew up playing pokemon, halo, skyrim, resident evil, civilization, bg3 was probably the last thing I played. Also was into fortnite/apex for a while.

Hi! So, I am on the job hunt, and I'm on LinkedIn at all times of the day. I saw a recruiter from 'Akraya' post about a remote role, based in California. I emailed him and he called me right away. I wasn't near my phone but he left a voicemail, and emailed me twice.
Email 1: Asked me to get back with him so we can talk in the morning. He told me the role is for one of the most popular social media apps in the world (I know the name, I just won't say haha)
Email 2: Asking for an AI-powered interview with "Alex".
This is not the first time I've been in contact with a recruiter from India. In fact, it's the third. I don't want to assume anything, but... I want to be careful and protect myself. Has anyone seen this before, worked with this company, or done a screening interview completely with AI? Please let me know. I need a job. I love being an EA. But I wanna cry :/

2024.11.27 01:52 Live-Entertainment-5 Load Miser for EV charger
Hello everyone, much appreciate the responses in advance. My wife and I are getting an EV charger installed on our 100A service. We have an Electric Dryer, Stove and AC on the service already and I was aware before hand that a Load Miser might be required to get the permits approved. The electrician stated it would be best if it shared the circuit with the stove as it is the highest draw, which makes sense to me. My question is really a simple one I think. Will I have to rest the clock on my stove every time I charge my car? The electrician wasn’t sure of the answer on that one. Hahaha. Thanks again!
TL;DR. Will I have to reset my stove clock every time I charge my EV using a Load Miser.
