 | Black Friday Deal from Amazon... my first gen Buds Pro got stolen so had to purchase a new set... took a chance to stay within the Samsung ecosystem... From talking with clients over the headset, using the translate to actually translate... to then having piece & quiet while working and listen to music but then able to seamlessly talk when i need to and these go quiet... these have been a blast. Haven't taken off the buds yet so not entirely sure if that ripped tip issue is affecting me or not... Walking outside to the bus stop in this cold weather & upcoming winter will be beautiful since I don't need to tap my headphones or open my phone... Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but..
We record live performances (typically local/independent acts) as a promo package from our venue. This helps us show off the venue, give new artists an experience, give their audience some new content, and potentially get them new viewers as well. (This is all free, and we share what we capture with them, post edit, to use as an EPK as well.)
The concern we have (the artists don't seem concerned by it... yet) is that, although we aren't being monetized, if we were to reach that level, how do we make sure the artists recieve a royalty split? The music and performance is obviously theirs, but the rights to the recording is ours (it's currently treated as a creative commons agreement, as we know neither is making anyone any money, per se) so we would like it to be split if possible in the future.
Would this be something that goes through a PRO, or is it doable strictly through youtube? I've gotten money through YouTube from Distrokid for my own music (studio releases, not live performance), but this seems like it would be a different matter..?
Can anyone walk me through it?

I'm definitely overthinking this and need a second, third and maybe fourth opinion lol. Ladd McConkey is on the waiver wire, and i have top priority. I obviously want him, but feel I have no one to drop for him. For recievers, I have Nacua, Nabers, Metcalf, Jennings, Jeudy and Moore already. Trade deadline has already passed, and I really don't want to drop any of these guys, but can only play 3 max. Was thinking of dropping B.Rob jr for him as I feel I'm not going to use him ROS, and he wouldn't be a huge upgrade to any current playoff teams. What would you do in this situation?

2024.11.27 01:57 slipperswiper Since MK2 is coming out sooner than expected, here’s my theory for the plot
Starts off with Shirai Ryu, Kuai/Scorpion, Hanzo, Takeda and Smoke on a mission from Liu Kang, confronting the Black/Red Dragon, Mavado, Daegon etc. introduce Sonya and Jax and Kano, Kano and Sonya being OIA rookie partners, they capture them and send them to Liu Kang, Kano discovers Outworld’s existence and begins to plot against Sonya and Jax. Sonya meets Johnny through Kenshi. This time Sonya falls for Johnny and is a big fan of him, he doesn’t like her at first, subplot of that. Smoke and Kuai/Scorpion train Hanzo, who has taken the mantle of Sub-Zero, but his powers won’t awaken because of trauma of his family getting slaughtered. It is later revealed he is the half-demon son of a yuki-onna (snow woman from Japanese folklore)
Reiko “tames” Onaga, Shao begins to start gathering military, Onaga is actually playing dumb, as a monster, but manipulates Reiko, there’s a battle of Shao’s forces vs Kitana’s army. No clear winner. Mileena builds the koliseum and challenges Shao to Kombat, if he wins he takes outworld, if he loses, Liu sends him to the void.
Liu Kang recruits Raiden, Johnny, Kung Lao, Ashrah, Kenshi, Reptile, Jax, Sonya and Kano to fight against Shao’s forces, which consists of Goro, Kintaro, Kotal, Skarlet and D’Vorah. Shao wants to use Onaga to fight. After the fight, Onaga discovers the kamidogu, and learns about the multiverse and sends Reiko to steal them from Liu Kang. Kano betrays Sonya, sides with the Red Dragon, subplot. Lin Kuei, which consists of Noob Saibot, Sektor and Frost (adopted daughter of Noob and Sektor), confront Shirai Ryu, Bi-Han/Noob kills Smoke, Hanzo fuelled by rage, awakens his ice powers, subplot. Liu Kang finds out that Onaga wants to merge all the timelines into one single timeline and rule as king.
Also Geras tells him that Raiden is the only mortal Raiden in the multiverse, and since Raiden is the only mortal Raiden, he is attracting unwanted attention to their timeline and the only way they can stop that is for him to not exist. Liu Kang tells Raiden this and Raiden begins begins to show hatred towards Liu Kang because Liu Kang is doing a shit job at protecting Earthrealm, and that he stripped him of his divine powers and status.
Onaga kills Reiko after stealing the kamidogu from him, manipulates Li Mei, begins secretly killing Titans and absorbing their power. Mileena exposes her illness to Edenia. Mileena goes feral. Kitana takes her place but is met by hatred and anger by the people of Edenia.
Onaga kills all the Titans and absorbs their powers, except for Liu Kang and Titan Kitana, and he merges the timelines, and one timeline remains, which is Liu Kang’s, but some of the characters that survived the merge from other timelines find themselves in that singular timeline heroes and villains band together to defeat him, Titan Kitana dies, Liu finally snaps, but Raiden sacrifices himself, and Onaga defeated.
Shao then double crosses them and starts a revolution which puts him on top as Emperor, then the game ends with Liu Kang going in hiding to try and find Raiden, while Earthrealm and other allied realms get ready for war.
Post credit scene, Shinnok is revealed to have regained his memories, after all his consciousness combined into each other after the merge. He confronts a weakened but angry Raiden, who is in the void, and who has also absorbed some of Onaga’s powers, Shinnok promises divine power, and manipulates Raiden into overthrowing Liu Kang and taking over as Protector and Keeper of Time, while secretly promising to avenge Kronika. Raiden becomes Dark Raiden.
