I bought my sourdough baguette from sprouts. It was one of those take and bake bags of 2 and it is so yummy. I baked it for a bit, cut the baguette into 2 halves and then halved that so that I could top it. I put on sliced tomatoes and the mozzarella and stuck it back in the oven. Once the cheese started melting I added the massaged arugula. When I removed it from the oven I drizzled olive oil on the tomatoes and balsamic reduction on the arugula. Finally I added the olives and basil leaves. Paired this amazing sandwich with a savory kale salad that I bought from the store.

i'm planning on going to nplt with my mom in the spring. i just was worried, and wanted to get a few opinions please. i really don't want to make her uncomfortable, if tucker and the crowd gets really sexual. is it bad? also, the venue is standing only and i'm worried she won't be able to stand for that long. my mom and i saw tucker on gracie tour, and she really loved his music and wanted to see him again. i'm just worried that she might hate this experience, or feel really out of place. we've gone to several shows together, but never GA. i would go by myself but my mom will not allow me to, and i don't want to hurt her feelings. please help! will we be alright?

This is what I experienced Monday evening before the election.
I have been a customer of Rock and Roll Heaven in Orlando for quite some time, having ordered records from them before without any issues. However, my recent visit on Monday evening was nothing short of a nightmare.
I went to the store with the intention of either buying or placing an order for two specific albums: the “Wicked” Broadway Original Soundtrack and Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck Babe” LP. After searching the shelves and not finding either album, I approached the guy at the desk to place an order. What followed was adeeply uncomfortable interaction that left me shocked and angry. When I asked about Wicked, without any further prompting, the guy at the desk made an incredibly offensive comment, saying, “You know if Trump wins, he’s going to kill all those gays.” I was taken aback by this bizarre and hateful statement, especially since I was simply trying to order some albums, some pretty gay albums at that.
Trying to stay focused on my task, I mentioned that I was also looking for “Good Luck Babe” and shared that I had recently seen Chappell Roan at a show. His response was even more vile and unacceptable. He asked, “Did you call her a bitch, the dirty dyke?” At that point, I was completely disgusted and decided to walk out of the store.
To add insult to injury, the albums he claimed were on “backorder” and "out of print" are still being pressed and are readily available on Amazon and at multiple other retailers right now. It’s clear that he had no intention of helping me and was more interested in spewing his hateful rhetoric.
I will never set foot in Rock and Roll Heaven again and have taken my business elsewhere. No customer should have to endure such treatment, and I hope others will think twice before supporting a business that feels so comfortable spewing such vile words.

Following the disastrous Battle of Midlam and the fall of Edinburgh to the Duke of Norfolk, the Kingdom of Scotland was in disarray. In the south, the defense of Edinburgh was given to the Earl of Angus, Archibald Douglas. Douglas had rebelled against James III, and had been stripped of land and title for it. Under James IV he saw some restoration of his lands, but he had chafed under the Stewarts. Being offered the title of Warden of Scotland, as well as Duke of Edinburgh, how could Douglas refuse?
Accepting the English offer, Douglas formed the nucleus of a turncoat faction in Scotland. Joining him was the rest of Clan Douglas, including his cousin the Earl of Morton, as well as Clans Lindsay, Leslie, and Forbes.
This lead to a great deal of clans exercising their rivalries - while some would remain loyal to the Stewarts for things other than clan allegiance (titles and land, for example, kept many bonded to King James), many Scots found themselves fighting amongst themselves once again.
Most prominently, Clan Donald, lead by the self-proclaimed Lord of the Isles, Donald Dubh, was joined by Clan Donald's traditional allies - among them Clans Mackenzie and MacArthur. Seizing not just the Isles, but as far inland as Inverness, Donald Dubh had the opportunity to completely upend the order in Scotland, and had the potential to play Kingmaker should he so choose.
The English, meanwhile, had managed to occupy most of the Lowlands south of Sterling. After a battle at Sterling in 1508, King James withdrew and placed his court at Scone. The English, lacking in reliable local allies and suffering from raids, were unable to push onwards, settling for the control of Sterling.
Thus, Scotland remains divided into three parts:
- King James IV Stewart of Scotland rules from Scone
- Warden of Scotland, Duke Archibald Douglas of Edinburgh rules from Edinburgh
- Lord of the Isles and Earl of Ross, Donald Dubh rules from Inverness

The game is basically ending tomorrow and I have nothing I want to spend my tickets on. I don't want to buy more terrain, none of the reissue material really appeals to me and the only cookie that I kinda like has already given me the clothes I want and I only want like the chair but I don't know if i can justify spending all my tickets trying to get it. Title. I love my baby brother, grandmother and aunt so much, and it just sucks that I'm even considering running away (I'm 21 so it would legally be moving out, but yk. For the context). because my parents are the most dysfunctional, traumatised people I've ever known. How do/did you get over that?
