Nakakapagod maging magulang sa magulang.
My relationship with my dad is not okay na. Matagal na, pero since he’s my father I’m forced to understand him kase halos lahat sinukuan na siya. Lahat ng tulong binigay na pera trabaho pero wala parin.
My father is in his 40s and his mom (my lola) is in her 70s na pero he still does things na ikakasakit ng ulo ng lola ko and ibang relative ko.
Habang yung father ko sinisisi sa mga tao sa paligid niya lahat ng nangyayare sakaniya causing him to act irrational. Pag may nangyare naman yung nga lola ko yung sasagot sa mga nangyare, pag sinabi naman saming nga anak niya yung nangyare he’ll get mad causing him to act irrational nanaman.
I’m lost for words guys, ‘di ko alam pano ihhandle ‘tong ganto. Nakakapagod. Sakin na lumalapit mga lola ko to vent about the stress my father is causing.
How do you guys handle things like this as a panganay? ‘Di ko alam what to do

So right before calling it a night, I received an order for a large amount but the distance was about 35 miles away and the pick up was right across the street. As I went to pick up the order, I noticed that the restaurant was closed. Was this a mistake on the person making their order? Or was something fishy going on?

I’m being taken to court by an abusive ex who filed for emergency custody for my daughter, their not the biological and I paid the bills and took care of my daughter by myself while they claimed their self to be a dad but stopped paying attention to me or my child once the newness wore off, this person is a narcissist and has created a smear campaign of insisting they have rights to my child, he’s been named a “defacto parent” but only by ridiculous lies and I never signed any documents or authorized this person to have any bind with my child? This person went as far as saying he was the one who took care of her nightly/morning routines which is impossible when this person would sleep until 3pm and also refused to get a job. We were only together for a year and 11 months and It was simply two people breaking up one person just happen to have a child (me) I’ve got bank statements and loads of proof that this person is not who they made their selves out to be on the ex parte temporary emergency custody/visitation I was sent. it states that I gave this person authorization or POA which is completely not true. So, how are they considered a defacto parent? I never signed anything 🤨this person met my kid when she was a year old, definitely wasn’t around apart of her life until then.

not sure if sloan is too obscure nowadays to be discussing but i have 3/4 of their vinyl box sets they’ve released. only 1200 of each of them were sold so they’re hard to come by. i’m now looking for the One Chord to Another set but it seems i got really lucky with the others i found because i haven’t seen one for sale anywhere
i paid about $135CAD for the Smeared one which i think is still available on their website as it was released this year
$200 for the Navy Blues released in 2019
$300 for the Twice Removed released in 2012
hoping they’ll continue to release these for their different albums !

2024.11.27 04:30 Kalatapie Windows 11 - turn "Automatic Colour Management" off
!!!This only tip works if you have a screen that is able to display colours beyond the sRGB range - those are 10+ bit IPS/OLED panels.
Simply go to display -> Color and you'll see it as the toggable setting. Switch it off and all colours will look a bit more vibrant.
You can test this by looking at an image of something bright and red - such as a fire hydrant. The image will be a bit more vivid with ACM off.
What ACM essentially does is, it analyses the display's native Color profile and tone-maps the image sent to the display in such a way as to "emulate" the sRBG colour space in an attempt to "trick" the display - that is by compressing the brightest and darkest colors, and by reducing Color vibrancy to fit the standard colour range for internet pages, etc. This would be great if the monitor itself weren't doing a double-conversion back into its native Color space unless it's specifically set to "sRGB mode" in its OSD menu - and as you'll quickly notice sRBG mode just looks bad. This double conversion results in full colours, reduced contrast and crushed blacks. Turn it off and forget about it.
