2024.11.27 02:30 Hour-Ad-647 Going Airborne/Rangers In The Army With A Psych Waiver
I just got out of a psych consult today and am hoping to hear back quickly, it was relatively short and I feel that it went well. (Fingers Crossed). It was for previous anxiety and ptsd from when I was 11-12 and then a recent sleep medication from when I was 15. Me and my recruiter have been discussing getting an ETP for me to go airborne/get to rangers after signing my contract for 11X. Im not sure if option 40 can be added like airborne can after the initial signing, so for now I just want to focus on getting airborne qualified before worrying about RASP. I did outstanding on every other aspect at MEPS and have an ASVAB score of 86. I am also a wrestler and have always been an athlete. It really is just the old psych issues stopping me, which is frustrating seeing that Im 18 now. How likely is it for an ETP to pass for airborne with a psych problem? Should I bother with the ETP or just volunteer at osut? If I do volunteer at osut for airborne/rasp, how likely am I to actually get to go? Thank you guys.

I'm looking to do a werewolf role play. I am thinking that you're an alpha and traveling to different packs to find your mate when you find me, an omega, being mistreated in my home pack by the alpha and beta and their families. I would be a maid/servant and bullied by pretty much anyone who comes across me.
Being an omega would mean that I am weak and seen as lesser.
Normal pack ranks in my ideas are, top is highest, bottom is lowest: Alpha Beta Gamma Warriors Regular pack members Omegas
I would also like to include some push back from my current alpha. I my ideas werewolves appear either fully human or fully wolf (although larger than normal wolves) and can change at will, I am also okay with including anthropomorphic wolves but only the alphas can change into them, maybe only the alphas of your pack as a very strong and deadly pack, and only on a full moon or when filled with rage.

Second attempt, thank you to the first responses, they were helpful and encouraging. Sent out a handful of queries so far and gotten a few responses - 1 manuscript request (later passed) and 4 rejections. That doesn't seem like a terrible record, but I do want to make sure I'm maximizing my chances before I chew through too many potential agents.
In particular I'm actually more concerned with some of the other aspects of the query - particularly (when submitting via QueryManager) many agents ask for a pitch and the target demographic. I've read some articles on how to write a pitch, but I still feel pretty clueless about it. I stuck those in down at the bottom of the post - hopefully that's ok. Also any help on comps would be really helpful. I've done my best to do some research, but I still think my comps feel kinda weak.

Just her luck that, a few weeks from finals, that idiot Ethan barges in on her ritual and risks ruining everything. He deserved getting turned into a zombie, really.
