Wasn’t 100% I wanted to buy a lightning but the closest dealership I could test drive one was 3 hours away. But I took the journey in our model Y and thought to myself, what am I doing? This car works fine, is almost paid for, I don’t need a truck or more space for our kids (sarcasm). Needed to charge one time on the way there and the supercharger was so easy, pull up and plug in, came back out after 15-20 minutes and I was ready to continue. This made me hesitant again on whether I should trade in the Y but I ventured towards the ford dealership.
Arrived at the dealership and after test driving a flash and a lariat, and also taking my sweet time to decide between the two I finally decided to purchase. I forgot what it was like to drive a truck. And combine that with an electric drive train and 1-pedal driving I was sold. The truck is large though but somehow rides and drives better than the model Y. At least for me, as our Y was an early model.
On the trip back I used Bluecruise using the 90 day demo (loads better than FSD, and I mean way better). Charged at a Buccees, wasn’t as bad as I thought although I had a hard time removing the charger from the port, looked like an idiot for 5-10min figuring out how to remove it. Also it cost me around $50 to go from 26-84%…. Unexpected. Usually 10-20 total to “fill” up our Model Y. Will see how home charging fairs with our 240v outlet and Fords mobile charger.
Excited to see how this truck treats us.

I have been sleeping far too much as of late. 12-14 hours a night. It's getting to the point where it is an active detriment to my academic and social life- I have been absent from many events and seminars I had promised to attend or was atleast expected to. My appetite has also severely diminished and I often skip meals simply because I am asleep. Is this the fate of sleepyheads? To quietly snooze away while all of our hopes and ambitions fade out into faint dreams?

I got an offer for a position at a new company, but if I were to take it then I would have to pay my current company about $20k back that they had paid for me to get my master’s degree. My current job is 105k and the new job would be 130k.
I’m seriously considering this because my current company has gone through several rounds of layoffs this year and they are in the process of transitioning me to a new project (because the current project is struggling). However, it’s been a great company for the last 5 years and it sounds like they’ll be back on track financially by mid 2025.
The new job offer sounds interesting and the benefits are great, the only thing holding me back is the $20k cash I would have to pay back. I can afford it and will still have a 6 month emergency fund, but obviously that is not a small sum of money.

2024.11.27 02:30 naxypoo How do you build against dynamo with warp stone and refresher?
This might be a noob question, but I've encountered so many games where dynamo with warp stone and refresher just decides many team fights and ultimately the game even if the enemy team is behind.
It's not like all of us are grouped up, but even if little skirmishes break out, seeing a dynamo warp stone in and ult 2 or 3 people, then snowballing it into the remaining defending players and doing the same feels hard to play against.
Is something like making sure a teammate not be caught in a dynamo ult whilst simultaneously having rescue beam the only way for a player to really survive? Or using unstoppable or activating ethereal shift before dynamo is ulting?
I'm not saying dynamo is op or anything. I feel like mid-late game though, a decent dynamo with these items is really strong, and am struggling to find ways to counter play against it. Even if its not me getting caught and telling teammates to be careful because dynamo will warp stone in and ult, i feel like when team fights or skirmishes break out, the end result seems inevitable.
Pls no flame telling me im bad or dumb. Just want to be better informed and educated.

Hey guys. Roughly a year ago frontier installed a MoCa adaptor and eero into the master bedroom. I would like to move it to our gaming room so we can connect LAN. However, when i plug the adaptor into the coax in our gaming room the internet does not work. It acts as if it only receives internet to the one coax in the master.
