My partner and I went down to City Hall (whistling the Vienna Teng song) last Friday to get our marriage license. Filled out the paperwork, signed our names, and took the license home in an envelope. We have a 15 min ceremony at City Hall booked on December 3rd which we're mostly viewing as legislative rather than ceremonial, though our parents are each driving in about an hour to be there for it.
The problem: in a zealous spurt of cleaning over the weekend, we think we threw out the license we brought home.
The question: can we pick up another copy at City Hall before Tuesday? Would we have to re-sign/re-generate a new license and thus re-start the 3 day waiting period before getting married? (We would obviously prefer to avoid the ~$175 fee to waive the 3 day waiting period if possible.)
We plan to call/visit City Hall tomorrow at 9 when it opens since we couldn't find the answer on the website, but given that tomorrow is already busy with travel, cooking, and some other appointments for us, it would be great to figure out an answer before then.
Appreciate any insight!

Hi hi!
I applied for a role I was a good fit for, but used one of my exaggerated resumes...
This applies for my older job experience where I moved the start date 3 months back and added 4 months to the end date.
My most recent job experience is 100% accurate, but I'm incredibly concerned the previous job will come up during the verification and offer process.
I have already passed multiple interview stages and have 1 remaining. This company seems incredibly serious and strict. The first line of their job description is that all hiring decisions are subject to a reference check.
And looking at the job posting today for the role its asking for numbers, if they can contact old employers, etc. Basically, this is clearly a very archaic company with some old-heads running their HR.
Would the ATS or something flag me going into my profile and changing the resume or the role dates. Thank you..... I hope when we get to the background verification stage they pull my most recent resume. How does it work with your ATS? I think theyre using workday

I am going to be reporting my gains for this year with a 0 cost basis due to bad record keeping (this is what I have been advised to do) and the fact that I bought these coins for ~$1,000 (not worth the hassle to track everything down, as long as this is the proper way to do this...).
The bitcoin was held for well over a year and I have access to the Electrum wallet that ultimately transferred to the exchange (Robinhood).
2 questions...
1) Can you have a long-term capital gain with a 0 cost basis?
2) What do I attach/how do I prove my long-term capital gain status? (ideally, how do I do it within the Electrum wallet).

I’m in Monroe County, NY (Rochester) and rent an apartment with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I’ve been dealing with a ton of issues in my unit, which led me to call the city. A city inspector came out and found multiple problems, including missing permits for the basement bathroom and unpermitted electrical and plumbing work.
To summarize: • I’ve had 2 bathrooms for the past 7 months, but the city recently determined that the basement bathroom doesn’t have permits to exist. • This inspection happened because my main bathroom has been unusable for months (and still is) and I’ve been dealing with a persistent mice infestation. • Now my landlord plans to remove the basement bathroom entirely, but for now, it’s still there because the main bathroom isn’t functional.
I’m paying $X in rent, which I thought was for a 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit. However, nowhere in my lease does it actually state how many bedrooms or bathrooms are included. On top of that, I don’t have a phone number or direct contact information for my landlord—only a support email, which doesn’t reach them directly.
Given all this, is it reasonable for me to request a rent reduction? How should I go about making this case to my landlord without escalating to something drastic like suing, going to court, or threatening early termination?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
