Dear all,
I hope all is well with you! My name is Sam -- I am autistic and also an autism researcher who is fascinated by neurodiversity.
One of my side hobbies is a (very small) Youtube channel/podcast (All Neurotypes Office - YouTube) that mostly features interviews with different neurodivergent individuals. I would love to learn more about Schizotypal Personality Disorder and potentially feature some interviews on the channel, and am making this post to see if anyone on this subreddit might be interested in being interviewed about their experiences? (I did check with the mods to obtain approval before posting, as I wasn't sure if this would fall under the "no recruitment" rule, although it isn't a research process.)
(For anyone who might be interested, I'm happy to give any information about the interview process that would be helpful. Usually, I do a "pre-meeting" with interviewees through Zoom or communicate through email to answer any questions they have. I also always send a list of interview questions ahead of the actual interview, as I don't want anyone to feel caught off-guard or put on the spot with an unexpected question! I have interviewed one person before who preferred to be anonymous, so after the recording I went back and transcribed her responses into an AI voiceover to make it non-identifying. In general, I'm more than happy to discuss anything that might make the interview process more comfortable.)

I'm currently on version 1.13 (Basileus) and i can't get the game working with the mod. I don't have any other mods installed other than the base mod. I have tried a lot of fixes but none of them have worked so far. The game either crashed at the loading screen or after selecting a character to play.

 | A couple of days ago u/Freyadiin made this post about the new improvements that can be made to RAM circuits with the new 2.0 changes. I've been down the same rabbit hole, and I figured I'd share my design here as well so it can at least be search engine indexed. Pictured here is 6 sectors, or about 300KB. The design can be expanded both down and to the right. It has a 1-tick read and a 2-tick write (though you only have to worry about the 2-tick write when immediately reading from an address just written to). The inputs and outputs are fully tick stable, so you can use either continuous signals or N-tick pulses at your discretion. This particular design can read from 2 different addresses regardless of sector, but only has the circuitry to write 1 value per tick. More circuitry can be readily added to each sector to increase the number of simultaneous reads or writes, at the cost of data density. Brief documentation is provided in the descriptions of each combinator: Blueprint string Since this design and Freya's have the same sector area, all of the improvements in data density come from using a more complete indexing table. There are far more than 2910 circuit signals in 2.0, if you include signals that are not directly selectable in-game. Entity corpses, recycling recipes, GUI tools, etc. are all unique signals that can be added just fine to constant combinators, and thus can be used to store more signals on the same wire. In addition, signals in 2.0 are can now have multiple types; for example, there are actually 3 different transport-belt signals - one for the item, one for the recipe, and one for the entity:Cursed image courtesy of boskid. When extracting from script, you end up with 2,067 unique signals even before multiplying by different quality levels. And because there's actually another hidden quality level quality-unknown, you can actually multiply this count by a factor of 6 instead of 5. All told, you end up with a grand total of 12,402 circuit network discernible signals.At 4 bytes per signal and 14 tiles per sector (including space for electric poles), this design has an average data density of 3,452 bytes per tile. At these data densities, storing gigabyte-sized volumes not only becomes possible, it becomes borderline feasible. Pictured below is the circuit tiled to 250MB: 3 more of these and you have a gigabyte. 4x4 reactor for scale. The maximum amount of addressable memory permitted by this design is just shy of 16 GiB, or 8GiB if you only use the positive address space. And if you use the same indexing table and decoding circuit, single-address readable ROM circuits can have data densities of over 16,000 bytes per tile, meaning you can store the same 250MB above in one fifth the area. I (25f) have been dating my partner (23m) for over four years now. He’s always had this best friend (we’ll call him Josh) since he was in high school. Josh was dating this girl (Jessica) who would eventually become one of my best friends after meeting her thanks to my partner introducing us and us hanging out as a couple. Recently Josh decided to leave Jessica and their two kids behind. This caused tension in my relationship with my partner because he would defend his best friend and I would defend mine. We agreed it’s not ours to fight about and let it go.
However we had a bonfire night just me, my partner, Josh (who called earlier after cancelling his scheduled day with the kids) my partner asked me earlier in the night if Josh could bring a friend and I said sure. Unbeknownst to me it would be his new “friend” Sarah. My jaw dropped when she entered the room because it felt like I was betraying Jessica and I didn’t feel comfortable with a complete stranger at my house. I tried to be friendly towards Sarah since I didn’t know her but it just felt awkward. I try to have a drink with them and then decided to go to bed as I had work the following day.
I go to lay down and I smell something burning. I jump up out of bed and realize my partner forgot about the pizza he made for Josh and Sarah. I’m furious as to how he could be so careless. He tells me “it’s not a big deal” and “it’s not that burned.” (He’s clearly intoxicated) From this point I can’t sleep because I’m up with anxiety. I hear them hooting and hollering outside and I also hear Sarah repeatedly walking in and out of my house to use the bathroom. I can’t sleep. I’m angry that we went from 9pm to 2am and they are still here. Where’s the respect? I have work in the morning. I pull my partner in and tell him they need to leave because I need to sleep. After letting my partner know that I just wanted to sleep a few more times I start to get frustrated. I tell him again, he says they aren’t bothering anyone and for me to calm down. His friend fell asleep and he didn’t want him to drive home. I said find just get them out of here or wake him up I don’t care.
His friend over stayed his welcome and no one had any respect for my work schedule. I was furious and hurt. I started to cry and have a panic attack. I started yelling “get them OUT.” He kept shushing me and telling me to stop but he was clearly getting furious with me. Eventually after an hour later they finally left. We had a week long fight about it since I made the guests feel unwelcome and I felt that I wasn’t respected in my own home. Since then he says it’s my fault and that his friend probably never wants to come back. He insists his friend didn’t do anything wrong. So am I the asshole?
Side note: when I woke up the next morning the yard was a mess with beer cans all over the ground and one of our good dishes left on the table outside.

Good evening,
My partner and I who have spent years going to school with construction/ business related degrees, followed by both of us working for a series of developers, and contractors as developers for a combined 20 years of experience (were both in our early 30's). I myself started my own business and started remodeling for a very well known property management company in southern California, but it seems that the company has started hiring their own vendors and doing "in house" deals... making money themselves off of the flips.
This has slowly but surely chipped away at my business, but what I also find fascinating is that they are charging more than what we previously charged LOL. If only some of these owners payed attention to their buildings more. Not to mention that they are doing a half you know what job.
Needless to say, I am looking to find more property management companies to do business with, as that is what I feel that we specialize in. Our prices are very fair as we have won most of our bids in the past and we are both very hands on owners of our company, taking pride in the level of work that we put out (even for the price).
Does anyone know how to get in contact with these property managers or the owners who make the calls? We have sent out endless emails which seem to not really go anywhere. We are willing to give some pretty serious referral $$$ for any leads.
We are located in Los Angeles.
