2024.11.27 05:47 Vin112358 My girlfriend opened SBI bank account and they forced her to buy insurance. How do we cancel the insurance policy?
It's some accident insurance which will cost Rs 1000+ yearly. She asked them not to include any insurance but they forcefully made her buy the policy. It takes Rs 500 to open an account but they told her to pay Rs 2000 so that they can sell her insurance from it. And they also told her it's a mandatory insurance for all, which is a lie.

I Really feel bad for all the staff at that location especially for the older women in this picture I spoke with. She said she will be okay but might have to look for work again after the holidays. Overall I’m just so disappointed in the management and Sam B(CEO) that they couldn’t even give the employees proper notice that they were losing their jobs, 5 hours is not a warning, that’s just straight harassment. I hope everyone affected is able to get through this time they may be more tough on people than it may already be.
