24 year old male here. Was discussing with my PCP and we came to the conclusion that I may have OSA. For years, I snore frequently when I sleep. I’ve always had a large neck (regardless of whether or not I lose weight). During the day I’m fatigued and and experience daytime sleepiness. 2-3 nights a week, I find myself randomly waking up with a scary sensation of trying to catch my breadth. This has been happening for about 2-3 years. I plan on doing a sleep study soon. But the idea of having to start using a CPAP at the age of 24 is honestly making me feel depressed. I initially thought OSA was something mostly older adults experience. Just very shocked that I most likely have it at such a young age.

2024.11.27 04:34 moozna 30 y/o mom of two trying to be strong and lean. Suggestions?
I’m a 30 year old female, 127 lbs, 5’4 ish (164 cm) and a mom of 2 kids. In my teens I used to be very physically active and athletic. I started university and that’s when my lifestyle changed completely.
In the last few years I have managed to shed my pregnancy weight while my goal weight remains 118-120 lbs. That was my initial weight before pregnancy. I want to continue losing a few more lbs till I reach my goal weight and a better looking, toned body.
I cannot manage to go to the gym so it would have to be something I can do at home. All the equipment I have is a pair of 5lb and 8lbs dumbbells. So far I have been following MadFit’s full body workout on YouTube and my heart was racingghggggg lol. So my question is, if I follow such home based workout plans, when will I actually start seeing results on my body considering I eat decent healthy homecooked meals?

A white persian cat wearing a light pink collar appeared in my balcony this morning on the top floor. It is definitely someone’s lost pet. I live in Sector 21B near the government school. It was sitting on the next door neighbours terrace. I would have brought it inside but if I went near it it would run away so I gave it cat food instead and left it alone. (I have 2 pet cats aswell) I have circulated the message to all animal welfare groups. Please reach out in case you are looking for your cat or know somebody in the area who is.

The setting is cool because it's futuristic. But it's not only that, you have the DLC. Post apocalyptic dystopia, sure. Atlantis was an advanced ancient civilization, sure. But why would you have a fantasy land with a cat with a gun riding a unicorn? In a futuristic motorcycle game? Cause WHY NOT.
And the future is apparently run by penguins and squirrels cause WHY NOT.
And (according to the lore) every time you fault you actually DIE and come back a NEW GUY.
I love how the game tries to seem so serious with it's futuristic setting and it's soundtrack and then it does the goofiest stuff ever. I wish we got more of this in Trials Rising but for the past 9 years safe to say Trials Fusion has been my favorite game of all time and defined a big part of my childhood. It definitely is one of a kind.

i feel bad about it but any type of mouth sounds fill me with a violent rage and an irrational amount of disgust. mostly chewing, smacking food in their mouth/chewing with their mouth open or talking when they eat. it’s fucking repulsive. it makes me want to bash my head against the wall and scream. i don’t want to hear swallowing, clearing the throat, none of it.
i never say anything out loud but i just cannot stand to hear any of it it. i don’t even want to hear myself eat. i always have to put something on to watch and if i’m eating with other people i have to put in my earbuds to listen to music unless there’s enough okay noise to cover up the bad ones.
don’t even get me started on food or mouth related asmr. literal torture for me. i block every account i see on my tiktok fyp (it’s a rare occurrence) immediately. i won’t take the chance of them showing up again.
sometimes i feel like a shitty person (and crazy lol) cause those noises make me hate the person in that moment but i can’t help it.😭
