Windows 10 Error: Chrome browser has failed to start because the side by side configuration is incorrect please see the application event log or use the command line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail I have the same issue and after a day of my PC being idle, when I move the mouse/press a key on the keyboard it is non-responsive. In the event log, the last entry before my reboot (can be several hours inbetween) is EventID 10010. I tried to run the above command but get the following error: DCOM Event ID 10016 are the most common of these and they do not mean anything is wrong with your device, and there is nothing you can do to stop these events being generated Honestly don't spend too much time in the Event Viewer, you will be convinced there is something wrong with your PC, when there isn't. Like before, the event viewer shows volmgr 162 in sequence right before kernel-power 41. In practice, the computer visuals froze and the audio hung up and buzzed for several minutes before rebooting automatically (same as always). Any updated advice? Thanks. 2024.11.27 05:50 MapleJap This game was a total surprise and I love it!
Unicorn Overlord. That one game that I didn't expect to fall in love with is slowly exceeding every expectations I had. The game feels exactly like a Fire Emblem (Series I'm profoundly fond of) while still doing its own thing and not feel like a total copy of it.
Gameplay is fun, I see a lot of people complain about the battles auto-play, but since Fire Emblem had the feature for years, it doesn't bother me as much.
The lore is a bit cliché: "Prince Hero gets to save the World from big bad Emperor", but it all fits well together, so far.
What pleased me the most though is the art direction for this game. The characters, beasts, armors, items, towns, nature, etc. Everything in this game is just so damn beautiful and good looking it's amazing.
I will say though, this will probably not reach as much people, but I do feel like the English Localization for this game is rather bad. Not atrocious, but not good either. As someone who's studying translation at College and plans to specialize in Japanese to French/English translations, the translators took way too many liberties in their work. Quite a few lines in English do not match the meaning and sense of the Japanese version. Some others that are only a few words in Japanese suddenly becomes 3 to 4 lines in English. At times, it honestly feels more like a fan fiction than proper translation.
Now, us translators are taught about taking some liberties sometimes, but never ever should we divert TOO MUCH from the original text neither. Like I said, it's not ATTROCIOUS, but it clearly could've been better.
Overall, 2024 has been an outstanding year for JRPGs; mostly Sega (RGG, Atlus, etc) and Square Enix. Here's another surprise to add to the mix. Can't wait to play more!

I (F21) have two roommates who are a couple (F23) and (M20). I’ve been upset with them for a multitude of things, but today I slammed my door on them, and showed M20 I was angry. For the past four-five months I’ve been the only one buying weed for everyone. At first I offered to pay, but then they’d start making orders and including me at the end. I’d always wind up paying, and when I turned 21 in September I was the one going in to pick it up. Since September I’ve spent over 200 to buy us weed, and now that I’m waiting to start my first day of work, they don’t include me in buying and M21 just bought for himself. I feel really upset about it, but I don’t know if I have a right to be. It feels super unfair but I was the one who used my money in the first place. Idk if it’s petty or not This is the same situation on food, being the only one who buys groceries when I get my ebt in and whenever i order food they expect me to get food for them as well, or if I’m out and about. It’s hard because M20 is the one with the drivers license (we evenly split car payment) and whenever I buy food outside they expect me to get things for them without even asking.
