I think people might mostly fall into one of two camps: Initialism: pronouncing it like “oh-gee-ess” Acronym: pronouncing it like “ogs” (rhyming with dogs) or “ogues” (rhyming with rogues) Personally, I like to say “ogues” (rhyming with rogues), since I also like to call the game “OG” (rhyming with rogue). Not sure if there are any other og’s trying out Fortnite rewind to get warmed up for the upcoming OG Szn 1 update, but damn. This current season reminds me why I quit this game. Firstly, if you don’t learn how to build and keep up with current standards, you CANNOT compete in build mode. You gotta get good, and practice building for WEEKS to keep up with how advanced the community has become.
So go to no build?
Still sweaty as hell. All people do this season is land at Spaghetti, Ice Spice Island, or Snoop Dog’s Mansion, recruit the AI, and then fly around on the helicopters to the other rapper locations to collect MORE AI and more bs weapons.
Then, they fly around the map, looking for gunshot indicators or footsteps on their SCREEN (because Epic wanted to help deaf people, but now NON DEAF PEOPLE abuse this option), and jump teams with grapple guns and their op weapons.
How the fuck is this fun?
Oh, and the grapple guns. Makes me feel like I’m playing build mode! People just grapple on top of buildings, and shoot down on people. People took what they learned in build mode, by grabbing high ground, and apply it to every battle in no build. It ain’t fun.
Getting into a fight at the beginning of a match, and getting excited, only to see the enemy bot walk, and realizing they are AI is such a kick in the balls. I might win a game with 10 kills, but 7/10 are likely bots. It’s so boring and unrewarding.
The soul of this game is lost man. Remember when people built FORTS in this game? 😭🙏

Hey HR sub, I'm looking into budget floor modelers (used market) and the MX5 seems pretty fleixble and powerful. My main question is around changing scenes during a song - does it happen as soon as you press on the switch, or when you release the switch? I'm currently using a boss katana + airstep and it changes patches/effects on release, and its really off putting for me, being used to traditional TRS channel switches or stompboxes. I play a lot of songs that go from crystal clean to big distortion (90s punk/metal) and so the small lag when changing is very noticeable.
A lot of responses I see to this type of question are "get used to it" but its a big factor for me, so I'd like to get a product that means I I dont have to unlearn my timing.... Cheers

2024.11.27 05:50 Finch1717 My network adapter suddenly didn’t work
Opened my laptop and both WLAN(Wifi) and Bluetooth options wasn’t available. I was having problems with my Realtek 8852CE network adapter like having bad wifi connection so I defaulted it to only accept 5g signal from my network. It worked for a week then now it just didn’t want to work. I tried power cycling it, power draining, restarting, network reset, factory resetting my bios settings, enabling and disabling my network adapter through bios, resetting the whole machine itself. Nothing work device manager would only show the network adapter as greyed out. Curious if my network adapter just died or my motherboard is about to die.

I have a touch kitchen faucet and think it is the Brizo 63121LFp. This is based on a Google search looking at images. Recently, I replaced the 6 batteries. Now, when I shut the water off using the touch function, it will most often drip, sometimes very fast, other times rather slow. With a voltmeter, I measured each of the 6 batteries, and each measured 1.67v.
