Really quick simple question--looking to make keymap idempotent since there's no module for it. localectl set-keymap us set the keymap. Return code of localectl | grep -q 'VC Keymap:.*us' indicates whether it was previously set. Similarly, localectl set-x11-keymap needs to be set and checked with localectl | grep -q 'X11 Layout:.*us'.
I suppose it needs to be done in a block (or at least preferable, since multiple commands are being run and they do the same thing). So there will be 4 tasks (one for each command) and you need to register 4 variables then a changed_when for the block to check all variables have exit code of 0? Pretty sure there's simpler or correct way.

Thanks to science garage (don't know what happened to Bart since), B2B, up to speed among others I learned a lot about cars. I would probably not be the car guy I am today if not for Donut. (They even filmed in my home country and even better, at my home track, here in São Paulo, Brazil.) Its also the same 2-Box paclaging as retails 🛠 Build Quality: 7/10: The watch itself feels quite premium and quality in the hand. The display has a glass cover protecting it. Not 100% sure if the frame is metal or plastic but feels a little bit cool to the touch. It also feels comfortable in the hand, as its quite light. I think its even lighter than my galaxy watch4 🧵 Band: 9/10: The Bands feel like any other smartwatch band, pretty good. ⌚️ Software/features: 5/10: Software on this watch is a bit decent. It has all the basic features of any smart watch (like notifications, calculator, weather, timer). Its got also some fitness tracking with an actual heartrate sensor. It isnt as accurate as my galaxy watch 4 but its relatively close. The UI also feels significantly smoother than other rep watches ive tested. Its a little less smooth than my Watch4 though 📱 App: 6.5/10: Its an app for fake apple watch, what do i have to say. It has some ads, but there are a few decent watch faces. The app is available for iOS and Android as well. 🔋 Battery life: 8/10: The watch can last about 3 days on a single charge, which is pretty decent for a smartwatch. My own galaxy watch4 only lasts about 18h or so which is about the same as a real apple watch Total: 6/10: I feel that this watch, like a lot of these rep watches are towards reselling, rather than for personal use. I would recommend getting a used Apple watch S6 or a galaxy watch4 for Android. But if u need just the bare minimum and dont care about fitness data, its pretty decent. En Estados Unidos el jueves de esta semana es el Día de Acción de Gracias. Tradicionalmente los estadounidenses cocinan mucha comida y se almuerzan con toda la familia. Comen el pavo con jugo de carne y el pay de calabaza.
Ni mi esposa o yo tenemos familia aquí en California, y en verdad no me gusta mucho el pavo o la calabaza. Entonces no hacemos nada especial por el Día de Acción de Gracias. Además, a menudo tenemos que trabajar ese día.
Pero creo es un poco triste para nos niños de no hay una celebración. Entonces este año vamos a ir a un restaurante de carne brasileño en familia para hacer algo especial.

Mr Shrimp isn't similar to the original Dover Demon sketch. His son kinda has the eye position but without any other traits like no pupils, the inflated forehead, the snout, the thinness...
So my asspull fan theory is that the original sketch is of a metamorphosis stage between the child stage & the final stage lol
like Chiquitita will turn into that- eyes whitening & forehead expanding + fingers & body lengthening- before growing his helmet + antennae eyes + pincer fists,
& another "Mantis Shrimp" alien had looked like that sketch when they first landed on Earth & got sighted
My second crack theory is that Tatsu called his species the Dover Demon even tho he wants to draw a punching mantis shrimp alien...
...all cuz Aira (who just joined the group) has been wanting demons to be real so bad- so she wants to have sth to smite & have a forbidden romance with a demon boyfriend lmaoo
(Tatsu has done goofy loose coincidences like this, like JiJi's favorite soccer team just so happening to be named Zaint-Germaint)

2024.11.27 05:33 deedsnance Syncing .torrent files down to a NAS programmatically
Here's my set up: I have a dedicated server with 4TB of disk space that's running qbittorrent, all the *arrs and plex. It does everything you would expect: hosts plex, seeds torrents, auto-queues torrents, etc.
I'm starting to run out of disk space on the dedicated server so I bought a NAS to perma-seed. Really, I'm just going to keep buying drives and seeding. Maybe I'll delete the well seeded daily running shows, but I really want to keep seeding the more obscure stuff pretty much indefinitely on my NAS.
Syncing TV and Movies down from the radarr and tv-sonarr directories (from the dedi, to the NAS) is already underway. This is going to just be an rsync job that runs probably daily.
I don't actually see where qbittorent is keeping the .torrent files otherwise I could just rsync that directory. Obviously I can just select all torrent -> export .torrent but I would prefer not to do this manually.
Should I do that once and then tick the option "copy .torrent files to: " and rsync that directory as well? Or are these files already being kept somewhere by qbittorrent?
Sorry for the potentially nooby question. Thank you in advance!
