Well, the Holiday Redemption Event has finally been announced at shoppersdrugmart.ca (Canada)
With my points redemption, I'll have $200 left over to spend on skincare products.
Please help me decide!
My biggest issue right now is my under eye area - postmenopause with wrinkles have turning up on the daily.
Currently debating between clinique, estee lauder, lancome and RoC eye creams.
Open to suggestions - looking for the best bang for my buck, as in something that delivers on nourishing and replenishing the under eye area for mature skin - not just a fancy container of hyaluronic acid. Also, my eyes will go nuts if there is too much fragrance so that is a consideration.
Other than a dedicated eye cream, any face creams, serums or neck cream recommendations that will turn back time would be appreciated. 🤣 My skin is not particularly problematic (other than I hate my face). I have the usual mid-century marionette lines, jowels, and fine lines. Not much in the way of deep wrinkles or acne. Not particularly sensitive or temperamental skin and probably normal to dry rather than oily.
I'm not expecting any miracles by any stretch of the imagination from OTC products, but if you've had a good experience or have been really wowed by a drugstore beauty product - I'd love to hear about it. As with the eye cream, I'd like something that packs a punch and will nourish and firm, not just moisturize.
I am using Retin-A .04% gel (prescription) a few times a week so OTC retinol isn't necessary. I'm also happy with my current cleansers, my vitamin c serum, and the assortment of acids I use so don't need any suggestions for these types of products.
I'm fairly new to skincare (I only jumped down this rabbit hole in March of this year) so I'm definitely in a "I'll try anything once" phase and certainly not brand loyal.
Please share any of your HG products.

 | Hi! I’m trying to decide between the Coach Quilted Tabby in sizes 20 and 26, and I’m feeling conflicted. I’ve read that the size 26 works well as an everyday bag, but I’m leaning toward the size 20 since I’m quite slim and petite (5’2). From what I’ve seen, the Tabby 20 seems to look great on women with a similar height and build. i plan to use mine as an everyday bag too, but i won’t have anything more than a cardholder, a lipstick and lipgloss, a sanitary pad, and my phone in it. so im assuming that size 20 will work well. However, I’m concerned the size 20 might look too small when worn as a shoulder bag, which is how I plan to use it. That said, i also don’t want the size 20 to look really big on me either! lol! Unfortunately, I can’t visit a Coach showroom and will need to order online, so I’d appreciate any advice—especially from women around my height and build—on which size might suit me best. i plan on making mac and cheese (obviously) for thanksgiving!! i’ve made this cheese sauce before, only difference is is that i always made it when i was ready to eat it, and i am adding another type of cheese this time.
years ago ive prepped my mac earlier in the day, looked so good when cooked. i refrigerate and put it in oven when the turkey comes out and it was just not great after it was heated… it was not as creamy and got too thick. my question is how do i avoid this? or is my only option to make the sauce and cook right when im ready to put it in oven? there will be a lot obviously happening in the kitchen so im trying to avoid that, but would rather have a stuffed kitchen than gross mac and cheese lol

My boyfriend and I separated for two months due to him cheating on me early on in our relationship and then told me 9 months later. This guy i had been with knew who my boyfriend was and always asked "what does he have better than me" My ex who knew of him and seen a photo then asked me the same question when we were together. We'll tonight I found out they hooked up and it made me feel very upset and betrayed even though i feel i shouldnt be, becaude during our seperation i was seeing one person while he had multiple encounters. I explained the situation to him and he walked off pissed off since this news made me uncomfortable. I guess the thing that also bothers me is i am starting to show symptoms for an STI while he was recently treated three or so weeks ago from it. I feel so in my head and when I ask him questions he gets disgruntled because he feels i am being accusatory but I am asking in a way of concern for my health.
