I'm about to start oral compounded semaglutide which requires a daily pill taken first thing with no water, but I travel extensively for work. For the next month, I'll be on a timezone that's a six hour difference than my "normal" timezone, and then back. I read the information about not doubling up on a dose if you miss one, but what about if you need to adjust for timezones for travel? I'm not a great sleeper so I don't want to have to set an alarm for 2 am when I return home just to stay on the same pill schedule. Will adjusting time zones really make a huge difference or am I just overthinking this?

Hey all. I am a 23 year old male, who has grown maybe 1cm, or maybe 2cm if im being very generous to myself over the last 5 years, and suddenly after taking glucosamine (888mg) , chondroitin (300mg) + MSM (400mg) for two weeks I have literally grown 1.3cm. I took this for joint pain cos i go gym a lot and tweaked my shoulder, my shoulder still feels rough but i found myself feeling a lot taller. I am a bit obsessed with height or maybe i am height conscious, i didnt know if i was deluding myself or what.
My height before Glucosamine Chronodotin + MSM :
180.3cm (morning)
179cm (midday)
My height after taking Glucosamine Chronodotin + MSM:
181.6cm (morning)
180.7cm (midday)
it is honestly really, really freaky. I have measured myself multiple times, to ensure I am right, and its definitely undeniable. I am a healthcare professional and I do anthropometric measurements on people all the time, so im well aware of how to do it in an unbiased way. Albeit, I havent used a stadiometer, but theres a stadiometer at my gym i will use and report back on when i do, but ive been measuring myself the same way I usually do, so despite whether my measuring is technically accurate or not, im 100% taller, its undeniable. I saw one study from 2002 seeing Glucosamine increasing height by 0.5cm in test subjects, but this was from their midday height, other than a few anecdotes on youtube about it genuinely increasing height (like this anecdote here), i havent heard anything else about it, has anyone else used glucosamine or may explain whats happening?

 | Hello everyone I'm trying to simulate a 3-DOF robot in SW 2016 Motion Analysis and want to compare the torque with a real robot. But in motion analysis, the torque is the same for up and down, which is not realistic. I also simulated a simple lever where a motor lifts the weight up to 90° and lowers it again. Again, the torque is symmetric. Gravity, mass and inertia are of course taken into account. The holding torque of the lever at 90° is properly calculated. It seems to me that the static or dynamic component is taken wrong into account in the calculation. Since this is an obvious error in a simple model, I can't be the only one who failed. Switching to a newer version is not possible for several reasons. Has anyone had the same problem or knows a solution? I'm 22f am having problems with my boyfriend 21m. I want to get outside perspective because we keep having the same argument and it's getting ridiculous in my opinion. For background I was addicted to weed and have been off it for 6 months. I've gotten drunk a few times after sobering up and now I'm working a physical job working 8- 12 hours a day. On the longer days my body hurts so I drink 1 or 2 Mike hards 2 to 3 night's a week. Only 5%. We've had the same argument a couple times now. He makes a big deal about me drinking mike hards and tonight he called me a lower level drunk. I don't feel drunk or tipsy when I drink Mike hards. I only do it to help my body relax and so that my body doesn't hurt. I think he's upset about it because his dad and friends are drunks. But from my perspective he's blowing things out of proportion. I need advice please.

2024.11.27 07:50 geoelectric AR HUD pointing wrong direction?
I have a 2023 Limited with the AR hud that animates arrows pointing at/through turns and forks.
For turns they’re working as expected, but not for forks, freeway splits, stuff like that.
I’ve noticed a few times in the last week or two that when the GPS has to follow a split, the AR HUD arrows are pointing to the right even when I need to keep straight or split left. The GPS screen (including on the dash and basic HUD) points correctly. It’s just the AR portion that’s wrong.
That actually tripped me up and caused me take the wrong direction entrance on a rural freeway, which was super inconvenient because the next exit was 5 miles away.
This has to be new behavior. I haven’t been driving with GPS all that much recently, but I’ve only noticed it these last few weeks.
Is anyone else seeing odd HUD behavior lately? Did the September update break something? I think it just OTAed to me fairly recently.

Took a frozen turkey and put it in a bucket of water from 1pm and just woke up at 2am to take it out. I meant to take it out earlier but fell asleep. The turkey is now completely defrosted but still cold. Just took the temp of the water and its at 53 degrees. One end of the turkey was measured at 42 degrees while the other end was at 35. I immediately put it back in the freezer to firm up, then i’ll place it back in the fridge. Is the turkey still safe to eat?
