So for context my cat is a 4 year old domestic and I moved in with some family back in February. They had recently adopted two mainecoons. My cat had not lived with other cats for about 2 years at that point.
So for the crux of the oddity, recently we’ve noticed that my cat eats like the mainecoons (I.e. scooping food out of the bowl and eating off the floor).
Now I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced that?
Also we have another domestic cat here as well who grew up alongside the mainecoons but she doesn’t eat like them.

She's awesome, really is the best step mum I could have asked for. Her and my dad have been together for about 20 years now, and we saw them every couple of months when I was growing up as mum had us. We get along really well normally.
Now, she keeps making these comments. She talks to her mates at work about how their kids don't work enough hours, or how people work low hours and claim benefits as a top up.
I recently turned 19 and work 20 hours a week. I started living here about 3 years ago. She's made it clear I should be looking for more work, and I am. i also pay rent and upkeep
She makes other comments, aside from that. She said this morning how things always go missing with me.
It just really breaks my heart, because I love and respect her so much.

As the title says my boyfriend who from the very beginning of our relationship knew Im a top and knew I never had any interest in bottoming now has shown interest in being the top. Which I understand he’s valid in exploring himself and wanting to experiment and that’s fine but I’m just not into the idea of bottoming no matter how many times he has tried to convince me, so now I’m worried this is gonna be a major problem in our relationship.
I have thought about maybe suggesting having a three-some so he could fulfill his top fantasy but i don’t know if that’ll just make things messier, cause what if he doesn’t respond well to that suggestion or maybe he likes the suggestion and enjoys the act of being a top so much that he’ll want to do it more, which i wouldn’t be cool with apart from that one time.
Extra context if it helps. I am bisexual and lean more towards women but I of course don’t mind being in a gay relationship and I’ve been happy, also I’m 23. My boyfriend is also 23 and gay and also very feminine.
So if anyone has another suggestion or opinion than I’d like to hear it (except me bottoming). Also it’s 3 am, so I’m sorry for grammar mistakes and poor paragraph structure or something.
I’ll probably delete this after a couple of days fyi.

2024.11.27 09:59 seburou For Anyone making a "mining" game and trying to destroy tiles using TileMapLayer
I spent the last few days pulling my hair out trying to get auto tiling to update correctly when removing cells for "mining". It worked in the editor, but no matter what I tried (including use AI), I couldn't get it to update the tiles correctly. I had gotten close, but there are always at least a few cells that show the wrong tile...
I was checking for surrounding tiles, and trying to update those etc. In the end, this is all I needed (after finding the tile to remove):
# Check if tile exists if tilemaplayer.get_cell_source_id(target_tile_pos) != -1:
# Remove the tile tilemaplayer.set_cell(target_tile_pos, -1)
# Update terrain for existing neighbors tilemaplayer.set_cells_terrain_connect([target_tile_pos], 0, -1, true)

I’ve been on birth control for YEARS and it used to help my painful periods that i used to have as a teenager, and i’m 22 now. but now my birth control definitely doesn’t help any cramping or discomfort. My periods got bad about a year and a half ago, and i had concerning pain, and got a transvaginal ultrasound and that’s how i found out I had adeno. And ever since, my periods have gotten even worse. Is adeno supposed to be rapidly worse? i skip my periods every month now because i can hardly function from pain. i feel like i have a bowling ball in my pelvis pulling it down, the cramps feel like i have lava in my lower stomach, i get insane hip pain, pain that shoots like electricity from my hips to my knees, and sometimes a very upset stomach due to hot flashes and pain. when do i consider if it’s even worth skipping all my periods and keeping a uterus? im only 22 with no kids and am unsure of having kids. I get period like cramps almost everyday at some point thru the day anyways even not on my period. :/

I have a very friendly cat along with a very friendly dog. They are both couch potato’s, and often want to cuddle with me and sleep on top of my lap/chest when I’m laying down on the couch. My cat often wants to cuddle with my dog, but my dog usually growls or snaps at her whenever she tries to get too close. My dog grew up around cats, so it kind of confused me as to why he’d get so upset whenever she’d try to sleep next to him even. I have had the dog for about 4-5 years, and the cat 3-4 years now, and the dog has not really gotten comfortable around her in this way until now. Just now, as my cat was sleeping on my stomach, my dog jumped up on the couch to come sleep on me as well. As he was trying to find a comfortable spot to lay, he went right on me and confidently rested his head against my cat, like a pillow! He has never been so comfortable around her like this. After taking a couple pictures, I was thinking a little. Should I let them be, or should I move my cat away? My only fear is that the dog will wake up and get startled by her being so close. He has never been so aggressive with her that he’d bite or anything, but who knows what would happen when he is just waking up. He also twitches a lot in his sleep, and my cat gets startled pretty easily, so I wonder if her jumping a bit would wake him up and make him snap at her again. Either way, I believe this is a very good sign, and it of course was super cute.
