Caring about people is nice and all, but my empathy is blown out of proportion to a destructive degree. I can’t be around sad people without being sad, and that doesn’t help anyone or fix anything.
I feel like a burden in situations where people are hurting. You’re having a bad day, you don’t need to deal with me being a dramatic weepy mess because you’re sad.
Avoiding people isn’t an option. I have a major extroverted streak (Leo rising probably sees to that), and go nuts in isolation.
I really have no idea how to deal with this. It makes me do bad things. I’ve lied to people so that they wouldn’t be upset. I’ve literally stood up and removed myself from spaces where people were sad, which helps nobody, and is so rude.
I don’t know. Being hyper-aware and affected by the energy others are giving off can be nice, but it has enormous downsides at the extremes.

27 November 2024 Espoo, Finland – Nokia today announced that it has been awarded more than 3,000 sites by Deutsche Telekom AG (DT) to support the operator’s multi-vendor Open RAN network scale-up in Germany. The deal, which includes Fujitsu, covers a mass rollout of O-RAN-compliant technology with commercial deployment already underway in the Neubrandenburg area of Northern Germany. The new deal formally marks Nokia’s return as a supplier to Europe’s largest network and will see Nokia replace the incumbent vendor in the area covered in the agreement.
Under the deal, Nokia will supply equipment from its O-RAN-compliant 5G AirScale portfolio powered by its energy-efficient ReefShark System-on-Chip technology, including modular, high-capacity baseband solutions and high-performance Habrok Massive MIMO radios for premium coverage and capacity. Nokia’s industry-leading solutions ensure performance consistency, resiliency, and security for Open RAN. Nokia’s solutions integrate with DT’s multi-supplier Open RAN environment where Fujitsu will supply its O-RAN-compliant mid-band remote radio head products. The deal will also see Nokia support DT with network modernization alongside existing suppliers.
Nokia will also deploy its intelligent AI-powered MantaRay NM solution for improved network monitoring and management and will provide AI-based services, including digital deployment, optimization, and technical support.
Abdu Mudesir, Group CTO and Managing Director of Technology Germany at Deutsche Telekom commented: “This deal is further evidence of our significant commitment to multi-vendor Open RAN and ensuring we have greater supplier choice for radio access networks. The network performance in the already implemented area is delivering the best customer experience. And now together with Nokia, we look forward to scaling up Open RAN in Germany.”

I never dated during my school or uni years, but only when I started working did I try to make a move on Y (25F at the time). We were both studying for a post work qualification, and we got along really well...or at least at the beginning.
A month in, she would pick fights over small petty things, like me not picking her up from work because I was busy. Even though it only happened once, she once responded "Even my ex wouldn't be so particular". I never really forgot it even 6 years on.
After a year, the relationship transcended into an endless amount of fights fuelled by a mix of her ADHD, our impatience, and our demanding jobs. I mention ADHD because I did my best to work around it but it always ended up with me having to cover for her. Example: She needed to go to the hospital for meds, I specifically asked for 2 weeks notice so I could move my own things around, she would only tell me the morning of, I get angry, she yells at me for "being so fixated on a schedule", and out of love I drive her to the hospital and end up late for work.
We broke up once during Covid when one of our fights got too much for her. During the breakup, she said "I don't appreciate anything you did for me, because I never asked for it". I drove her around everywhere (ADHD makes her unable to drive as per doctor), bring her food, comfort her on bad days, buy her stuff....to be unappreciated like a bag of trash on the roadside.
I was very heartbroken because I put on a lot of effort and did love her. We got back together after 7 months, but I honestly didn't feel the same anymore.
A year after we got back together, I got a job abroad in Europe. I took it but she wasn't happy, and we decided to LDR. Less than a year into the LDR, she got influenced by someone to go to church as she was unhappy with her (still demanding) job. I was much happier abroad, meeting new people, having fun etc but I made time for her. Unfortunately, she made little time for me.
This is not a post to say LDRs don't work. It's the personality of the people in the LDR that do. My ex started to use church as an excuse to not spend time together, e.g. "I'm attending Alpha today" or "I'm at church today, don't call me". When she got baptised she didn't tell me until the day before as she "forgot" to inform me of such an important religious moment. I do not expect her to tell me every single thing she does, but in my opinion the big moments are to be shared with those important to you. At this stage, I knew I wasn't important anymore but I tried to tell myself that I was probably paranoid.
She assured me nothing would change about us even if she went to church, but she lied.
I went back to Malaysia for her 30th birthday in 2023. Took a week off, begged my boss to let me go, flew 13+ hours, rented a car, drove her to Genting...basically tried to make it special. I kissed her before I left for the airport, she wouldn't come as it "interferred with her Bible classes". When I kissed her, I knew something was wrong but I shut up about it.
2 months after that, more alarming behaviours happened. She started quoting the Bible in almost all her sentences, stopped spending time with me, and eventually it came to another fight. This time, she said "You are not Christian, so it makes me feel guilty to be with you". So much for "nothing changing".
At this point, my heart had already distanced itself from her. So I told her to make the final call to let me go. It hurt like hell, I gave her 5 years of my life for her to ditch me for the church. And yes, I know sometimes people change but it still stings until today. I have other Christian friends and I have nothing against the religion specifically, but I am averse to dating someone from the church after this incident. (If it is not obvious, I am not Christian. I was raised Buddhist but am agnostic.)
She still owes me RM10k as I paid off her bond to her company when she decided to break it after completing her post work qualification. She was supposed to stay at least 4 years but she left at 3.5 which meant she was RM20k out of pocket. She couldn't wait half a year to "gain RM20k". With the slightly better FX rate, I decided to help her out of love....but I guess I was just stupid.
We have not spoken ever since, and I have no intention of reclaiming the RM10k. I hope she has a good life with the church. I am now dating someone else who is ironically raised Christian but no longer practises the religion (more atheist). We fit much better and I am happier without my ex.
This is not a post to throw hate on a particular religion, but my takeaway from this would be:

  1. Date someone compatible
  2. If someone treats you terribly, snap yourself out of love and go

Is it expected or I can configure some GPO or another settings to get new computer cert each time after computer is moved to another OU? first time jobseeker. and dami ng companies na inapplyan ko, pangalawa pa lang ito na job interview na natanggap ko (yung 1st is unrelated sa degree ko. the interview only last for a minute, kaya di ko sya matawag na formal job interview). syempre practice ako to answer job interview questions to prepare, did some mock interviews online din. and sa harap ng salamin. but during interview, they asked technical questions. i just really can't explain the process of the tasks i am doing, but deeply know and can do them and get them done. i just sucks at speaking. weakness ko talaga ang verbal ability ko. nakakahiya. napaka-unprofessional ko pakinggan sumagot. napakatipid. nagmukha akong walang alam kahit marunong ako.
and on the fourth question na na-mental block na ako, sinabi ko na sa interviewer na 'di ako fit for the role. i just gave up. then they stopped the q&a. and one of the interviewer comforted me instead. grabe kaba ko. i messed it up. sayang ng opportunity. gustong-gusto ko nang magkatrabaho and help my family.
i know the problem is me. need ko pa ng madaming practices.
