I am willing to pass Level 1 in 1H25 and to ‘ease’ my path to the exam i decided to avoid these massive CFA Curriculum books because i simply don’t have much time for it. However, i have a subtle fear of missing something important out. Should I be concerned about this issue or these books are not a matter of life and death?
I am currently working as a financial analyst (Operations) in an industry (4 yoe) and have a Masters degree in Economics. I haven’t open any Curriculum books but been reading Schweser Notes for a while.

2024.11.27 08:50 GoldenLoins 400 Amp Switch or Breaker?
Hi there,
I have an older property with a 400A service. Said service comes into a meter box and then enters into a main load panel directly right after the meter box. From there, two 200 amp sub-panels are feed out of that main panel. The main panel also has a 100 amp shop panel fed out of it.
Because all of these subpanels (200amp/100amp) are 100+ feet away from the main panel, I would like to backfeed my generator into the 100 amp panel so that it would flow through the main panel and into the two 200 amp sub-panels (which power the east/west wings of my home). The problem is, the main panel doesn't have any sort of breaker or switch. It just has massive wire running out of the meter and into its lugs. Without a way to shut off the main panel from the grid I can't backfeed into it legally. So I am currently stuck backfeeding a generator into one of the 200 amp panels, cut off from the main panel, and only powering half my house.
Do they make a switch, panel, panel/meterbox combo, or anything else that I can replace that main panel with (or supplement it with) so that I can backfeed into it and still shut it off from the grid? I was googling and no clear results, at least that I could recognize, were coming.

Hello, so as the topic says I've have just been banned. Long story short, played at rollbit for quite a while now I think over half a year or even longer and never had a problem with deposits or withdrawals. Up to 26.11.2024 lifetime deposits and withdrawals were deposited 33813.03 and withdrawn 26970.45, this month alone I deposited and lost over 1900$, yesterday deposited 120$ and won over 5000$. I tried to cash out 4000$ and left to play another 1100$. After trying to cash out got hit with KYC, before this I never had problems with KYC, I then completed level 1 and 2 and I was struggling to complete level 3 due to my phone and front facing camera issues, I informed support and I said that I can send picture of myself holding my passport, once I reached out to support they asked me if I ever had an account with rollbit before, I was honest and said yes , I did had an account that at some point that was self excluded I think for a period of 1 month and the account was closed at that point, I truly don't recall how long the exclusion period was. I got told that the ticket is raised with senior colleague and I have to wait, obviously my mind is rushing it's life changing amount for me , knowing that I'm down almost 10k overall and Christmas is due , today in the morning I reached out to support again and my account has been banned, I got told that my funds are forfeit due to their policies and my previous self exclusion, I asked for previous transcript because as I said before I do not recall how long exclusion suppose to last, feeling hopeless, self harmful at this point it's a big amount of money for me before Christmas, I was allowed to gamble all this time and once I hit something bigger and tried to cash out got banned. Truly feel scammed in some kind of way especially after losing almost 10k in a span of a year and recent 1900 this month. Is there is anyway to receive my funds I'm not asking for lifetime deposits I just want my winnings that I should be entitled to, I have screenshots of conversations, deposits, withdrawal requests, remaining balance, could be posted here or to socials to keep people aware of these kind of situations. Just don't know what to do or who to reach feeling helpless

I bought a flat in lovely old tenement in the southside which has been treated for dry rot. And the more I look into it the more I worry about it, can it return? Etc
I think for the first week when you receive the keys you can query things in the property itself.
Where could I find an impartial guy to take a look at the documentation of works and a look around the building to make sure everything was done properly.
Im not certain if surveyor is the correct term, this is my first ever place so not sure on much. Just looking for some advice to head me down the right direction in what to Google.

I don't really know where to start. Monday afternoon, I had a normal day with my Mum. We laughed and gardened. Tuesday night, my siblings and I were gathered for a spontaneous dinner. I thought I was only invited to. Mum gathered us around, and I could tell whatever was coming had some weight to it. Like a freight train, the news my mum was diagnosed with leukaemia, due to start chemo soon hit. I have been crying on and off since I got gone from dinner. Having seen my boyfriends mum battle a brain terminal brain tumour and go into remission. she is a shell of her former self, and in constant pain. I know there's a chance om going to lose my mum as she is or all together. I'm terrified, and I know she is, how can I be strong enough to be there? What do I do for her? Does it get easier to cope with? How do I hide I'm not coping from my mum, and step up to takw care of her this time. I guess I don't know what I'm looking for, maybe some advice and reassurance

KTLA ran a story and there is a YouTube video which features a video from her uncle saying that her mother may also be currently missing under strange circumstances. He says Jahnay’s dad (his brother) is a hip hop CEO/producer. The dad and his brother are the ones reporting their absence and pleading for their return.
Directions are to call 917-528-6923 but I am not sure whose number this is supposed to be.
Possible case of mother and daughter leaving the husband/father? If you have contact, I’d let Jahnay and/or her mom know they are being looked for & encourage them to let people know they are safe (if they are) rather than reporting their whereabouts back to the dad, if you can, until you know more. I’m sorry if this is hurtful to anyone reading it and I may be totally wrong. There isn’t much info on this case for me to go off of. Thank you for your attention on this missing student
