I am writing at the beginning what I should have written at the end. I have not been able to solve my problems for 3 months with positive reinforcement and affection. At the end of the process, I want your help, and if I cannot find a solution, my beautiful dog will no longer be able to live with me. Please give your suggestions by taking these into consideration. I am thinking that my dog may also have a mental problem.
Our 4.5-month-old Bernese puppy got parvo last week and almost died. We struggled with her illness for a week. We saved her with our vet, both by working hard and spending money. However, I cannot fix her behavioral disorder. Her calmness when she was sick made me fall in love with her, but when she got better, she behaved worse than before.
I have many problems, but the most basic of them is definitely her disobedience and biting. We cannot sit together on the couch. She bites my feet, clothes, and everything else after 20 seconds. I work from home, so we spend a lot of time together.
When her vaccinations were completed, I started taking her outside about 1 month ago. We started a routine for toilet training and took her out 4 times a day, spending more than 2 hours outside. However, she does not walk outside regularly, she jumps on people, and eats whatever she finds. People also want to pet her, but I have to say that my dog is currently in training. Because it is not possible to pet her; she jumps on them with a show of love.
If the doorbell rings, she goes crazy and tears all the clothes of the person who comes, biting them. Maybe it's a show of joy, but this is not a sustainable situation. Before the illness, she used to wake me up at 5:30 a.m. and wouldn’t go back to sleep. Now, she wakes me up at 1 a.m. If I take her out of her room and into the living room, she starts chewing on the wooden chair at night. She doesn't want me to sit next to her and pet her calmly. I force her to take naps in her room from time to time during the day, but she tears apart the pee training pad.
I’ve allocated her one room of the house for now, and we prevent her from going outside that space with a baby barrier. We routinely play tug-of-war at home. She has toys for mental exercise. She knows commands like sit, lie down, give me paw, and turn around very well. However, if you have treats or boiled chicken in your hand, she listens to you. When she’s outside, food doesn’t appeal to her.
I know I’ve gone on too long, and my question is: How can I make her a calmer dog? My wish is that she doesn’t bite me like crazy, her behavior is controllable when we go out, she lets me sleep, she doesn’t mess up everything in her room the second I leave her alone, and she doesn’t tear apart her training pad.
Note: She came home when she was about 8 weeks old, and sometimes my friends ask me if we sleep together. When I think about the early days—how we couldn’t even sit on the couch together because she was biting—I never thought of sleeping together. If I lay on the couch, she would bite me everywhere.

2024.11.27 08:40 CobraColt College asking for uniform money in order to provide admit card
Joining this college has been by far the biggest mistake of my life. I don't regret any decisions in my life as much as this. So I am from Delhi technical campus ,greater noida. Leaving aside the non existent college life , no infrastructure, grounds and the remote area it is situated in. They are one of the most money hungry pricks I have ever encountered. First they mandate uniform for every first year student , they don't allow students to give mid terms without uniforms. The uniform price is 6k , I got the same unform from one of my seniors in half the price. Gave practicals and all. Now they release a list of students who haven't purchased unform from college itself and also release a circular stating students will have to submit uniform fees in order to get admit card. It's absolutely nonsense. I have already asked for money once from home for uniform and don't have the will to ask such a hefty amount again. I am stuck in a dilemma , any advice will be helpful.

I am trying to setup a Vagrant dev environment with VMware Fuison on a Mac host that replicates a physical network of medical devices. Some of the devices are on a x.x.x.1 IP (x.x.y.1, etc). There are no servers running there. The problem is that when I setup a virtual machine with such a network, VMware Fusion sets up a host only vmnet and with DHCP disabled (which is required) the host connects to it with the same x.x.x.1 IP address. VMware Fusion does not have meaningful settings for the host only network, aside from DHCP & host port forwarding. Apparently this is trivial to setup on Workstation, but that is not available for Mac.
So far I have been able to manually change the host ip with sudo ifconfig bridge10x inet x.x.x.2 but this is fragile because the bridge changes number, depending on which machines are booted and is reset after halting and restarting a machine.
I came across the poorly documented vmnet-cfgcli but couldn't do it with that. Network configurations seem to be defined in /Library/Preferences/VMware Fusion/networking but that again is poorly documented.

So i've always struggled with relating to my emotions. When I got pregnant I thought I had gotten to a point in my life where I could self regulated my emotions. But here lately (I'm 28 weeks) I've been feeling extremely overwhelmed emotional. This is a every new thing for me and I'm not good at dealing with it at all. It can take me weeks to work thought any given emotion. And right now it feels like I have like 20 deferent tabs open up in my brain at one time. I'm feeling thing I'm not used to and I'm confused and honestly kinda scared. I don't know if what I'm feeling is just pregnancy or if it is all in my head.
Dose anyone have any advice?
