First, and I’m not in the slightest saying this to virtue signal, but Im a Kamala Harris/Democratic Party guy. I couldn’t date someone apolitical or Republican.
Due to my work and where I live and my accent… it’s rare that I meet women that are interested in a guy like me and that share my views. I didn’t finish college, I don’t have a high paying job, and I don’t have a skincare routine or any sense of fashion sense.
I do gotta unwaivering sense of social justice that honestly prevents me from pursuing anything with anyone I don’t know I’m on the same page with. It just saddens me what my areas political climate looks like.
Regarding what I look like, I’m a hair under 6’5, I have a buzzcut, I have tattoos on both biceps, I’m brown eye/brunette, I’m heavyset but well proportioned, much larger shoulders/chest than gut, and I’m very strong.
Regarding what else I do, I’ve gotta 1753 day duolingo streak, I religiously watch jeopardy and dream of being on there someday, I speak Spanish at a strong conversational fluency, and I’m an amateur at guitar and piano. I’m competent in handiwork around a house & in cooking various things in the kitchen.
If it’s not extremely clear, I am autistic. I understand if I’ve voiced any dealbreakers. I have faith that my person is out there and I’m willing to spend much more time than it took to write this for me to find her.

Hi 40(M) here, I know bit old school guy, but let me explain my story.
We were engineering college students, she was one year junior to me, we were deep in love, had almost non-breakable bond, we both very much attached and respect our family members, After our Engineering done, I moved to Master and she also move to Master, still we are in constantly meet each other, take care of each other very well.
I got opportunity to move aboard for job which even moved upwards from a lower middle class family.
Now we both are 26 and i requested my father to talked to her family for marriage, coming from very conservative (honour killing type family) I somehow convence my father, he talked and her father requested her local guardian uncle to visit our home, being elder from 2 sibling brother and 1st to have a enginnering in our whole neafae family. Her uncle somehow insult my father and gave a negative feedback like boy was just went to aboard, he had alot of responsibility to handle, bla bla bla, to which I felt my ego got hurted and I told my parents i woould marry wherever you wish.
My parents fixed my mariage and all this happened within few months and I got marriaged, to which she cried and I told her, I am already married and I cant undo now.
After marriage I never contacted her, but my wife came to knew that I had very serious relationship in past, I told it was past but i never contacted her, I had daughter within a year itself. My wife and I never had good relationship and she had bi-polar disorder which i came to know later. She never want child, but somehow it happened, she was very abusive and violent which me and my daughter suffered alot.
Fast-forward, i Always hide all those fight and abusive behaviour from parents, almost after 9 years of my parents my wife done called police and put falase allegation that we tired to kill her, luckily It was on forgein land and law were equal for boths,
After that incident, my parents said me to move one, and we filed divorce case which almost came to end.
Now, for what reason I am posting this, my gf who is now working as professor in well known college, didn't marry yet, we have some common friend who told asked her you should marry and move on, but don't know why she still didn't get marry.
On my side, my family is pushing me to get marry again, but what I decided either I didn't get marry or I will ask her if she wants to marry me, But I don't know somehow I didn't take courage and gilt inside me didn't allow to contact her or atleast meet her to say sorry.
Being elder in family and coming from conservative one I can't share or express my self to my family or to my siblings,
Even i dont understand nowdays Generation easily being in 2-3 month relationship move on easily,
I thought to post here since long, but I stop my self being people judge me.
Don't know what to do next, how to ask her, how to face her.
