 | Hi everyone, I'm organizing a Wings for Life World Run at a local Parkrun and would love to create a custom medal to hand out to participants. I’d like it to resemble the medal in the attached image, but unfortunately, I don’t have the skills to model it myself for 3D printing. Why was John Mark Karr dropped? I only watched the Netflix docu and I didn’t understand why he was dropped so fast. DNA was very young and cross contamination very much possible. I think he was very convincing on the phone and it’s a very plausible picture that he could have done it. Other juries have done a conviction for less. And things fit together. There is a witness, he was there at the time, he is a pedophile who confessed to have loved her. He had very intimate knowledge (the special name for grandma) of the family. He fled. He was a very sick mind. Or I am just forgetting something!? Thank you very much in advance. Please help me understand.

2024.11.27 10:30 Frazzlebopp 3 beeps?
Hi everyone,
I'm not usually a Mac user. I'm borrowing an older computer (iMac 2014) from a family member while my PC is in for repair. So I'm not sure where to find most things on it, or how to resolve issues.
It's been working fine for stuff like basic internet usage, videos, etc. But after putting it to sleep last night, it just woke me up emitting 3 loud beeps, pausing for a short period, and repeating. The computer didn't respond when I tapped the keyboard, so I had to manually power it down.
I figured I'd take my chances and turn it back on, and a window popped up saying that there was a problem with the sleep wake cycle. I made the mistake of sending the report to Apple before looking at it and now the window has closed on me.
Is this generally just a blipp in the system, or an indication of something bigger going on? Should I be sleeping the computer in general, or should I just do a full shut down at night or when I'm not home instead?

I have been fighting a valley fever case for about 8-9 months now. I am currently waiting for QME Report and it seems that the doctor is leaning towards my favor. I will need to be on anti fungal for atleast a few more years or potentially for life according to doctors.
What number should I be aiming for in terms of a settlement ? Im not looking to buy a mansion or a sports cars but something that I can stash away and pay for an ER visits for valley fever I might need in 20-30 years from now.
Just my Doctors bills have been around 300-400k for valley fever up to this point but I know that WC isn’t going to see it that way and lowball me for future medical coverage .
I haven’t received any offer but what should I aim for in an offer?

2024.11.27 10:30 Ponk_Bubs what do I do about these?
I've had this piercing since last year in November maybe? it was fine up until February/June this year at work when someone accidentally hit it.
Since then it's had problems with bleeding a bit and now recently a larger bump has just appeared underneath. and a small firm one on top. I'm not sure what to do, it just seems to bleed at times. No pus.
I'm mainly concerned about it looking a bit fucked. Do I take it out, leave it in?

I’ve been thinking about how Star Citizen might handle ship quality once crafting becomes more integrated into the game. As someone who has pledged for several ships, I’m curious about whether these ships might serve as a source of crafting blueprints or hold any unique advantages when it comes to creating higher-quality versions of the same hull -- or are the pledges just good for the stock starter ship and all higher quality aquisitions of the same ship will be found in the verse?
From what I’ve seen so far, it seems like quality variances might only apply to ship components (weapons, engines, shields, etc.) rather than the hull itself. If that’s the case, it raises questions about whether pledged ships will always have the same "baseline" value compared to potentially superior player-crafted versions in the future.
Does anyone in the community know if CIG has addressed this? Specifically:
- Will pledged ships provide any sort of blueprint or crafting advantage when it comes to creating new ships of the same type?
- Are ship hulls intended to remain static in quality, leaving crafting differences solely to components and loadouts?
